Reblogging here as well. In good hopes, after all too long, I’m hopeful my health pains are finally settling. Again, I apologize for the lack of drawings and updates. I’d like to see that changed in the months to follow.

Thank you for having me. I’ve been trying to get back into drawing again and this community project has helped me get a small kick start to thread along a good path.

For February, I decided to give tribute to Valentione’s Seasonal Event, which, in 2018 brought us an instance in the Sanctuary of the Twelve where two players had to communicate and work together to get till the end through a set of obstacles while tethered by a golden line that they had to work not to break. In many ways, that, and the Ceremony of Eternal bonding, in my opinion, don’t necessarily address a romantic bond, but also tight friendships, and can serve to remind us of the people in our lives that help us through our struggles and lows, but also share happiness and joy. Many of us have been blessed and found such people through FFXIV, and many still will. With this drawing of @ziyo-yo & @x-inay, I was hoping to share my gratitude to @darkredphantomx and, perhaps, to invite others to take this time to cherish friends, loved ones and those they call family that make their days brighter. Thank you!

Update!

Hello, guys! I’m still not ready to rejoin the art world due to rl, but due to recent changes to Tumblr’s policies, and a... less than stellar course of action, which followed previous restrictions, such as the tags restriction, the popularity filter and similar low blows to content makers and artists in these 9 years I’ve called this site a home, I believe it is finally time to move on. I’ll likely keep whatever content I’ve posted on Tumblr and, unless updated otherwise, keep updating my @thornedembers tumblr while I see which platform feels most at home from here on, but for now, for information on where else to find me, please check the about page. It will be updated.

That being said, I’d like to extend a thank you for those that followed me through my arting escapades so far. Thank you for supporting me, liking and reblogging. I hope we can continue to truck along together, here or elsewhere in the future as well.

I’m hoping to have more art status news for you all soon as well. Much love and stay safe! ♥

Health has not been the best since June... been in and out of the hospital more than I’d like to admit. But I’m getting a little better I think at long last. I spent today crafting these - mostly very belated gifts for @darkredphantomx / @ziyo-yo / @shroud-dragoon  (2 pins, 2 notebooks, 2 bookmarks& 2 cellphone charms) and pins for @luckysparrowffxiv people attending the Fanfest in Vegas. I’ll be among them. :> So if you see this pin, come tug our sleeves and say hi? ♥

Bring your best straps, flannels, short skirts, spikes and Edge. Colours optional but moderately encouraged. 💀 Music Playlist Genres: Rock, EDM, Punk, Metal [ BGM Music Playlist ]   💀 What You’re Walking Into: [[ FULL INFORMARE SLIDES PENDING ]] The Akanezaka Markets and Kobun Gardens are decked for a festival– a ROCK FESTIVAL! An IC neutral gathering where Garlean citizenry and Eorzeans can come together, mingle for a night out with music, dancing, games and raffles! Who doesn’t like a good prize or six? Catering to the event provided by BAR SAISEI. 

Event Runner’s Notes:  As it is a public event, there’s a few IC and OOC notes to take! First and foremost, the event is considered a ‘Garlean Friendly’ event for Garlemald citizens and those still residing within Kugane, Shirogane, and the surrounding islands, as well as traveling Eorzeans. 

This means there might be some (understandable) tension between the two factions. Kobun Gardens, as Kugane officials have stated, is neutral ground. No violence will be permitted within the festival space. (Pretty please.) Everyone’s there to watch the show, drink outlandishly, dance too hard and bid a few cheap raffle tickets on overpriced market board items. 

OOCly, if the crowd seems too thick, feel welcome to party up and/or mingle further into the ward! Announcements of upcoming events, running games and raffle cutoffs will all be in /Y. 

The background music playlist & performers sets for the evening may include songs with light/moderate profanity. The DJ music queue will open up to the public after ~2 hours.
