"Nothing but silence. The sound of it ringing on forever........Left in loneliness, everything destroyed......at my hands." I am Hotaru, but you probably know me as Sailor Saturn. I am Sailor Moon's equal and opposite. No evil will stand before my glaive, or they will be silenced. This Hotaru is 15, and is post sailor stars. as of now she is Super Sailor Saturn. (Part of SMRP. I also RP as Mistress 9 at times.)

My 1000th post!
I would like to thank all of you so much for letting me be part of this group. I love all of you. I want you to know that you are some of the most talented writers I've ever had the pleasure of writing with. You're all so much more talented than I am, and the fact that you've been as tolerant of my lesser skills is just amazing.
I want to take this opportunity to say that I have truly enjoyed this RP and I hope it keeps going. I see that a lot of the previous members are gone. It looks like even Chibiusa is too. Sad, because I was really wanting to RP that ship we were talking about. Her and I had some amazing interaction. I also really enjoyed interacting with the Quartet, even though two of them would hardly give Hotaru a chance.
I was really hoping for that to change and for them to work things out. Maybe some way it can continue. Maybe another Usa will step forward or the other one will come back. She was great and no one will ever be that good of a Chibiusa. But things move on and we're pushing forward in this.
Again, thank you so so much for great RP. All the hugs from me to you for 1000 posts.

A life as a “mama” wasn’t exactly the easiest thing ever. CereCere’s routine had considerably changed. The life she once knew in the time os the Circus wasn’t the same life she now lived.
Every morning she would wake up early enough so she could prepare hers and PallaPalla’s breakfast. Coffee, juice, pancakes, waffles, whatever she thought would help her dearest sister feel energized enough to go to school and do a good job.
Every morning she’d wake PallaPalla up and make sure she had everything she needed to school.
After breakfast, the two sisters would walk together to school. With different schedules, since she didn’t go to Mugen like her sisters did, she’d have to make sure to leave early enough to walk her sister and make her way to school.
She’d study as much as she could, paying attention to all the classes so she wouldn’t have to study a lot later. Before, she used to be pretty popular, talk to everyone, hang out with school friends, but that had changed. She would spend most of her time, even lunch time, studying. Ceres needed to graduate that year and get everything done. Plus, she never knew when she’d have to go try find Beryl and fight another dirae.
Trusting that PallaPalla would get home on her own, right after school she’d make her way to work. At that point, she had work almost everyday.
Her bosses were being more than nice to her, she had enough hours to make the money she needed. Beryl had made sure that they had all the needed, but still, CereCere did not want to spend what was rightfully PallaPalla’s money.
At night, she would study and cook dinner. Everything PallaPalla needed she would make sure her sister had.
Very little time was spent with Motoki. Very little time was spent with herself. Anything so her sister wouldn’t suffer more than she was already suffering. Ceres knew PallaPalla missed Beryl.
That afternoon was one of those she had free. A good time for her to clean the house.
Sighing to herself, she’d much rather spend her time shopping. When was the last time she did a face mask to clean her pores? Another sigh.
“It’s going to pay off.” She told to herself in her little ‘maid’ outfit she’d wear to make cleaning a bit more interesting. “In the end it’s going to be okay.”
Upon hearing a knock on her door, she wondered who could that be.
Opening the door without asking who was there her eyes lit up upon seeing Hotaru. When was the last time she had seen her friendly face?
“Hotaru-chan!” She smiled, pulling her to a hug. “So glad to see you! Haven’t seen you in a while and…” She looked around. The house was only halfaway cleaned. Ceres felt embarassed and bit her bottom lip.
“I’m sorry that this is so messy.” Sweatdrop.
Hotaru would have offered to help clean the rest of the house, but she really wanted to have the food done when CereCere was done cleaning. "Don't worry, it's okay Cere-chan. I came to make some stew for you and Palla-san." She nodded to the girl. "We can eat it over some rice. I got plenty of vegetables. I also brought my own spices for it." Hotaru was proud of herself. She tended to do most things on her own. She even made her own dinner at times so that her parents wouldn't have to do it.
It wasn't that her parents wouldn't have cooked her food. It was that Hotaru liked to do these things by herself. She didn't like to feel like a burden to others. Plus, she had odd eating habits that she didn't want to inconvenience others with. "You can go and finish the house. I'll start this and try to have it done when you are."
She carried the groceries into the kitchen and began to make the food. "It might not be perfect, but I'll do my best Cere-chan." She told CereCere, who was in the next room. Hotaru began by cooking the meat in the bottom of a big pot and cutting the vegetables.

A visit to CereCere
Hotaru had been missing CereCere. It had been some time since they had seen each other. She really wanted to visit, and doing so unexpectedly might be unusual for Hotaru to do; but she was worried and needed to see the older girl. Maybe she could cook a meal or at least bring her something nice.
Thinking in that direction, Hotaru went to the market nearby and picked out a few things. Mostly the ingredients to make a stew. It was something easy to make that she knew she wouldn't mess up. Plus, stew was a dish everyone mostly liked. She didn't pick out regular ground beef though. Hotaru was strange about not liking that. She picked out the highest grade beef she could find. It was more like ground steak. She was much more comfortable with it that way.
After picking out a lot of vegetables and spices, probably more vegetables than was normal, Hotaru paid for it and headed toward her destination. She would cook it there so it would be hot for CereCere. She would put a lot of vegetables in it. And she herself wouldn't eat much of the meat. That was just how Hotaru was about meat.
She walked to the front door and knocked, wondering if CereCere would be happy to see her.

OOC: It's okay! That old thing was on it's last leg anyway. This one is at least a little better. Let's get something going then. I'll make a starter for it.
I’d really like to get interaction with CereCere if that was possible. I missed this so much.

Lost
It was in the early hours of the morning that she woke up. Sleep was really a treat, but Hotaru and it hadn't seen eye to eye lately. She rose from her bed, her long black hair somewhat messed up. It had grown so much in the last few months. Really, it was like it in itself was laughing at her or poking fun at her. The longer it got, the more she resembled Mistress 9. Even becoming her now was more like it was just another part of herself.
As she splashed water on her face, she thought of the dream she had a while back. The one where she had seen a glimpse of a future that seemed so far away. Though now it looked like nothing more than what it really had been. It was a dream, and that was clearly where it was going to stay. Usa was gone, and that was the honest truth of the situation. There was nothing between them, and for Hotaru to believe that her best friend would ever think of her as more than that was foolish. Her feelings for Usa in themselves were foolish and she needed to do what she was doing right then. She needed to wake up. However bitter that was.
Usa was with Helios, and she loved the boy. Hotaru thought he was a nice guy as well. She should just let them be happy. It wasn't like she wouldn't see the other girl. Hotaru walked to her closet and pulled out the things she knew she was going to as soon as she rose from her bed. Her skates and her skating dress were awaiting her. She took them and packed them in the same bag she always used.
It would prove to be another day of the plainest shade of neutral gray. Not to say that Hotaru wasn't used to it. She had been like this for a while now. It felt like she was running as fast as she could but never getting anywhere. She wished that someone would tell her where she went wrong. At least the skates were still there. She still worked at the rink when they needed extra help. Even though she thought the owner was giving her regular hours because she felt bad for Hotaru.
Either way, life was turning out to be a maze that she couldn't figure out. As she left the usual note for her parents, she turned and looked at the house. Her violet eyes looked a little duller than they used to. Maybe she just wasn't meant to know what to do. Maybe there wasn't an answer to her questions, and she would go on never knowing what could have happened if her pink haired best friend was still here. With that, she turned and walked out, locking the door with her key and heading toward the ice rink.

Thank all that is holy....
My old laptop finally died a little while back. I finally have at least some way of getting on here again. (Another old laptop. Hehehe.) Let the Hotaru resume. I'm really sorry for all the issues I've been having. I'll be more active now.

Reaching her hand out with a couple of the shards, Mistress 9 handed them to her pink haired partner. "I stole these from that old robed skeleton." Her black eyes met with Black Lady's. "What a fool Wiseman is, thinking that he can control us. Now, we'll be stronger than ever, in this form, and together."
She giggled “Wise Man Yeah Right! I do what I want when I want!”

Her eyes flashed red. “That makes two of us. You know, it’s been way too long since we’ve seen each other.”

She smiled deviously. "No need to think of our other forms." She turned her palm up, and numerous shards of the dark crystal appeared. "These should keep us just how we are." She laughed and neared Black Lady. Her hair barely off the ground. "I knew these shards would come in handy some day."
She giggled “Wise Man Yeah Right! I do what I want when I want!”

Her eyes flashed red. “That makes two of us. You know, it’s been way too long since we’ve seen each other.”

It wasn't as if Hotaru didn't know that smile was fake. She wanted to put one on her own face. It was just that she was never good a faking them. "That's good. I miss her too." She said flatly once more.
The death of Jadeite had hit her so hard, then her parents relationship fell apart, and on top of all of it, Usa had went back to the future.
It was like she herself had fallen behind the time of the world and turned the most neutral shade of gray. The world was still in color, moving at a speed that she couldn't keep up with, leaving her gray self behind. Happiness seemed like it had lost it's meaning. "We should go get some ramen at a stand. I would like that." Her face remained halfly somber.
On the other side
She heard the footsteps and turned to see Haruka. “Papa?” Her voice was quiet, but she already knew the answer to the question. Things had been awry as of late, and Hotaru had felt the brunt of it. She looked back at her water. “How is Mama?” She asked Haruka.
Being that she was beyond her years at points, Hotaru took things differently than most fifteen year olds. “Have you spoken to her lately?” Her voice was somewhat flat, but Haruka would know that she was feeling pain from it. “I haven’t seen her in a while. I’d like to visit with her.”
She looked back at Haruka.”Papa, you should clean yourself up. Maybe that will make you feel a little better.” Her violet eyes showed sadness more than the tone of her voice. “I had a bad dream again. I had two furies and they were wrecking the house. You were there, mama was there, and…..” She trailed off and sighed. “….Usa was there…”

Hotaru rose up in her bed quickly, with a gasp. Her breathing was heavy, her long hair messed up. A sigh left her mouth. It was all a dream, at least, for now it was. Hotaru wasn’t one to dwell, but what she’d seen wasn’t anything to be taken lightly. <What can I do? I’m only me.> Something that at many points, burdened her greatly. She wanted to believe that she was something worthwhile, but her present state was hard to accept.
She stood up and walked to the kitchen in her pajamas. She took a hair-tie with her and put her hair in a pony tail. It had grown down to her thighs now, furthering her resemblance to Mistress 9.
Hotaru took a deep breath, pulling a cup from the cabinet. Ice went into it, then water from the faucet. The expression on her face was a somber one. <Can I ever save someone? Could I really be worth everything that was done to save my life?> She took a seat at the table and sipped her water.
