you don’t realize how truly impactful him crossing out the words “creative solution” in favor of dark magic until you see the many times he uses it throughout the show to justify what he is doing and the full out genocide he is committing.

that admission is incredibly powerful, but in the end, viren decided he was not worth being saved. and that he wouldn’t hurt more people.
