The final part of a series of drawings telling the stories of my heroines from the first three games. Forgive me, Aneya, but someone had to be tempted by the majestic glow of that bald head.

(Since I have a strong desire to write this down somewhere:

I want to note that I chose tattoos dedicated specifically to Mythal during my first playthrough, when I played as a Dalish, and since then most of my Dalish have had exactly this valasslin. I swear, this has nothing to do with the plot twists of Veilguard.)

It’s like in the great stories, Mr. Frodo. The ones that really mattered. Full of darkness and danger they were. And sometimes you didn’t want to know the end… because how could the end be happy? How could the world go back to the way it was when so much bad had happened? But in the end, it’s only a passing thing… this shadow.

I don't really know why, but that scene has had a tight grip on my soul since my first playthrough.

So, I finally gathered the courage to start posting my art here. I have been on hiatus for several years now, due to medical issues, but this series has kept me going in spite of it all: doodles upon doodles have started piling up on my computer, and so I'm slowly re-learning how to hold a pen, to honor my love for this series that has given me so much and keeps giving every day. I will be tagging my art as #a blight upon the world and I hope you'll choose to stick around to see it. These panels took longer than I care to admit, but I'm proud of all the symbolism I could cram into them (and if you'd like to take guesses and find bits of it, please do!! it would make me really happy!!).
