You’ll notice Glinda is wearing green but Elphaba is not wearing pink. This is a subtle metaphor for the fact that Glinda is never getting anything in her life

Thinking once again about how how much Glinda and Fiyero have in common:

there really is something about relationships between two people that are simultaneously relationships between three people (or more). you can interpret that however you want. secret identity love squares. two people but one of them is haunted by another person. two people but both of them are haunted by the same person. someone is possessed. literally just a throuple. when there's just two people in the room but they always carry someone else along with them. Something about it.

the 'there is only one person who can cook' ship trope is very funny re thropple to me because 1) all of them were raised very upper class and have probably never stepped foot in a kitchen in their entire lives 2) i don't think fiyero actually needs to eat period? and was a known grass eater prior to his becoming grass 3) even if fiyero, known malewife, was capable of cooking he literally could never do it because he's FLAMMABLE tldr glinda invents bubbledash and they exclusively eat out

It annoys me when people judge Glinda’s choice in defying gravity as her not loving Elphaba enough to go with her. Glinda’s decision had nothing to do with love and everything to do with ideals and genuine fear.
Glinda doesn’t believe that actively rebelling against the government is the right way to fight for a cause (aka becoming enemy number one). She flat out says “you hurt your cause forever. I hope you think you’re clever.” She believes in the system that has benefited her. She knows that popularity, propaganda, and optics are important to win over the masses. Also she’s fucking terrified. That’s why she doesn’t go with Elphaba.
Like judge her for her politics but not her love for Elphie because her love for Elphaba is what causes her to actually become Glinda the Good.

The dynamic of act 2 of wicked is so funny to me because it's like:
Fiyero: I wish I was marrying Elphaba
Glinda: I wish *I* was marrying Elphaba!
Elphaba: off committing treason, completely clueless

petition for people to stop focusing on the 'fiyero' riff in no good deed and instead on how witch-y the elphaba gets by the end, like i should believe that she is the wicked witch of the west by the end of the song and not just that. her voice dropped some because she's angry
#save us sjb.........#wicked#cynthia i know you can do it i believe in you#if she *does* do it people are going to be like omg she's the first person to ever do it which will be untrue but you know what that's#better than nothing#wicked for good
