Cora smiled wide. “Does she? I’ll have to do it more often then.” She said with a giggle as she took his hand, walking to the kitchen with him. “Is that what daddy said? Well we’ll have to make mac-n-cheese then huh baby boy?” She said with a giggle, knowing how much the little boy loved mac-n-cheese, and also knowing how much Isaac loved it, which is probably where Hayden got it from.

Hayden grinned and leaned against his leg. “I am very happy about that mommy.” He giggled and kissed her belly happily. “I so happy mommy.” He said and smiled happily up at her before starting to go and help getting ingredients.

Cora smiled softly and leaned down to press a kiss to the top of Hayden’s head, smoothing his hair down from when she had ruffled it. She nodded a bit at his question “I think so baby boy, I was thinking maybe we could make her favorite, I think mommy would like that, what do you think?” She said with a smile as she looked at the boy, she knew that all the kids were worried about Erica, and wanted to do anything to make her feel better, so she knew Hayden would want to help her do something special for Erica. 

Hayden nodded. “Mommy likes it when you cook.” He said softly and held onto her hand as they walked into the kitchen. “Daddy said she always like mac-n-cheese.” He said with a big grin, since that so happened to be his favorite as well.

Cora was walking downstairs when she saw two of her boys sitting on the couch and she couldn’t help but sigh a bit when she saw that Justin was tied up next to Hayden. As she walked up to the two she couldn’t help but smile at Hayden’ words, untying Justin she patted him on the back softly, watching him walk up the stairs towards his room. She smiled a bit and looked back at Hayden, ruffling his hair a bit. “You could help me start dinner if you want, and next time Justin tries to prank someone, just yell for one of us alright? No more tying up your brother. Thank you for stopping him though baby boy.”

Hayden grinned at the praise, despite it being peppered with a slight command. “Yes mama.” He said before standing up and smiling at her, putting his book down. “Is mommy resting?” He asked softly. It had only been a few weeks since the whole blast ordeal, and Erica’s been in and out of sleep, with taking care of Fen and ridding nightmares, no matter how much she denies they are a thing.

Hayden sat with his book, cross-legged on the couch. Next to him was Justin, who was tied up and had a mad face. He looked up when he heard Cora and smiled at her. “Justin tried to prank Lily again.” He said, which made Justin frown. “Tattle-tale.” He mumbled which made Mason sigh. Justin moved to his room and Hayden put his book down, smiling up at Cora. “Need help mama?”

Derek had been standing against his Jeep when he saw Fenris approaching from the school. He nodded and then climbed into the driver’s seat, waiting for Fenris to join him. He looked up as he was finally joined. He couldn’t help the smile. “Well if I know your mother, and let’s face it - I do, she’s going to be mad. But I was called first so I can just say I’ve dealt with it.” He told him with a shrug and then frowned a little. “So did it involve another kid this time?”

“Cause lying to the Alpha is always the best thing.” Fenris mumbled and shrugged his shoulders about it. He let out a sigh and tilted his head back against the seat. “Yeah.” He said answering Derek’s question. “I love our family. I just wish we were normal.” He mumbled lowly. And he did. He loved all four of his parents. He loved his way to many to count siblings, but he gets lost in the mix, and when someone says something negative about his family, he loses control.

The boy moved up to Derek's car, sitting next to him in the passenger seat. He’d gotten in trouble again at school today, and since Derek was on his call list, Derek had to come in and pick Fenris up since none of the other three were able to. “Mom’s gonna be mad isn’t she?” He said as he held his backpack to him.
