It is so fascinating to me that the paradox that I am experiencing is that by rejecting your “humanity” as an alterhuman, I am infinitely more human by doing so.
#otherkin#alterhuman#it’s not a huge paradox it just has to be thought out#the you in this case being societal standards#so basically I think societal standards reject exactly what make us human and force us to live in this box#they shame our instincts to care about each other and have different hobbies and explore#and put us in boxes with socially acceptable hobbies and paperwork#and shame us for vocalizing and playing and having natural emotions and impulses#and as someone who worked in childcare and studied psychology THESE ARE NATURAL THINGS THEY ARE REJECTING#it is completely healthy and normal to play and be loud and express yourself#I don’t fit into the human box that they want me to and I feel some complicated way that isn’t what they want from me#but I am infinitely more human than them (abstract)
