Buzzing Little Bee || Bumblebee

My first fic, so sorry if it sucks.

Charlie could still hardly believe it. She had an alien in her garage, after all! In the days following her discovery, she’d been slowly gaining the trust of her new friend. Whatever he was, it was clear he’d been through a lot. He flinched at the sight of her tools, despite knowing she would not hurt him, and had panicked upon hearing a helicopter for the first time. That wasn’t even mentioning his physical injuries. Pieces would fall off of him often, exposing gaping holes and lose wires. There had even been a few times where a piece would fall off while they were driving down the road.

Charlie glances over at Bumblebee, who had his eyes transfixed on the television. He found the television fascinating, for some odd reason. You would think a highly advanced robot would find something as simple as a television primitive. Not Bumblebee; he stared at the screen with wide, curious eyes. He’d been slowly picking up on earth culture and so far the television had been a good teacher. Every now and then Charlie answered a question, but that was it. 

Her thoughts were interrupted by the familiar humming sound. She blinked, refocusing her attention on Bumblebee. His head was tilted slightly, as if confused, and his eyes were still locked on the television screen. He reached up, gently tapping the screen and looking at Charlie expectantly. Confused, she walked over to see what he was pointing at. On the screen a couple was at the park. The guy dug his fingers into the girls sides, causing her to burst into laughter. Bumblebee pointed at the screen again, then looked back at Charlie. The girl frowned. “You don’t know what tickling is?”

Bumblebee shook his head slowly. He’d never heard of such a thing before. From the looks of it, it seemed pleasant enough. The female was laughing, so it must be pleasant. The Autobot stared patiently at Charlie, waiting for an explanation. “Tickling is when you touch someone in a sensitive spot and it makes them laugh. I don’t know why it happens, it just does.” Bumblebee nodded, though still confused. How can merely touching someone lead to laughter. He pointed to himself, head tilting once more. It took Charlie a moment to realize what he was asking.

“Are you ticklish?” Charlie asked incredulously. This was getting weirder by the moment, but she couldn’t help but find the robot’s innocence endearing. “Well, I don’t know. Can robots even be ticklish?” Bumblebee reached out, gently taking her small hand and guiding it to his midsection. He allowed it to slip under his armor, giving her access to the sensitive wiring underneath. The Autobot’s eagerness caused Charlie to laugh herself. This was too weird. “Are you sure?” She asked, earning a nod from her yellow friend. “Alright, here goes nothing...”

Bumblebee flinched, feeling her small fingers begin to wiggle against his wiring. It was an odd feeling, to say the least. Her touch was soft and gentle; so drastically different from the rough contact he was used to. Her tiny hands were able to access wires that hadn’t been touched in ages. As her fingers danced across his cables, a strange feeling began creeping up his midsection. It felt like tiny sparks were running through his wires. It wasn’t an unpleasant feeling; quite the opposite. 

Charlie watched Bumblebee closely for any signs of pain. She got a few flinches from the bot, but he never pushed her away. Encouraged by this, Charlie sped up her movements. Her fingers began gently tugging at the wires; not enough to damage him, of course. Her eyes widened when her friend let out a loud whirling sound, followed by something akin to buzzing. She grinned; that must be how he laughed. He really did sound like a bee now.

At one point she must have hit a particularly sensitive wire because he erupted into louder, more frantic buzzing. His squirming had picked up as well. The human continued for a few minutes before finally stopping. Bumblebee relaxed, slumping gently onto his back. His form was shuttering slightly, still feeling the ghostly tingles. Charlie grinned, shaking her head with amusement. “You like that Bee?” The robots eyes seemed to brighten as he nodded. “Well then, we’ll have to do that again sometime.”

Decided to write some tickle headcanons for this dork.

Ler:

Will use his powers against you. 

Claims it’s not cheating, but it totally is.

His super strength makes it easy to pin his victims.

He has to be gentle when in his superhero form. He doesn’t want to accidentally crush his victim.

Once he warms up to his new family, he has no problem teasing his poor siblings into an early grave.

Very playful, especially with Freddy and Darla.

Lee:

Backs away slowly when one of his siblings get that look in their eye.

Threatens to get them back, trying to hold back giggles as he does so.

His superpowers don’t help once you’ve started tickling him. He’s too busy laughing to fight back.

May accidentally shock you, or punch you into a wall, so use caution when targeting him.

Most ticklish around his ribs and thighs.

Snorts when he laughs to hard, much to his embarrassment.

The most evil tickling method is prying back someone’s toes and slowly raking your nails down their foot.
