I know I haven’t posted a while and it’s late, but here’s a short, brief demo of what I have. I still have plans for this but no motivation at the moment. I keep flicking from one idea to another. I do want to continue this but it’s not my priority at the moment since life has its ways. For those starved, here’s the bit I’m working on. Yes, there’s mistakes. Yes, it’s short, and yes, there’s not as many options. I realized a while ago that what I was making was too big. I trimmed it by a lot.

So, for those that are starved, here is just a piece, at least for a while.

So while you are hear what kind of premise are you aiming to I mean I'm not really big in warrior cats lore all of them that I know of is there's a bunch of clans of feral cats in a forest surviving etc etc I mean what will make your wip different than a warrior cat book

I plan on making it Warrior Cats but rebranded. Terms in the books will change as well as setting and lore. Basically the same premise of feral cats surviving in a forest. I just wanted to make a twist and give the player’s choice.

Okay no problem with that as long as we can still choose to be a stray or rogue kitten before we get adopted to the Clan or it has been set Clan born

Clan born is my idea for now but a rouge/stray option sounds like a good idea. I’m still going back and rewriting it so I may reconsider.

What do you mean exactly by not having other clans does that mean we cannot choose one of them or is it random or our clan has been already been set

You cannot choose between them. The clan is already set. I plan on writing the story around that.

Update| June 29th, 2024

I’ve got bad news depending on who you are.

I’ve decided not to have options for the other clans. Instead you start in one of them. The ROs will stay the same, I’ll just need to find more creative ways to put them in or make them normal characters.

I have an explanation but I’ll only say if someone asks. It’s just better to do this at the moment than add more options. This game will be very limited as I’m finding out and I’m trying to find a way to balance it.

For now, there is still no TBA. I’m not sure when I’ll get it to where it needs to be especially when things keep changing. I’ll update more in the future. That is all.

Update| June 13th, 2024

I’m back!

I’m still working on “Warrior Cats”. I just now got where I needed to be. Unfortunately, in exchange, Birds of Prey will be abandoned(or at least for now because I need to revise it).

I’m working on the first chapter now and establishing all the environments and characters. I’m also changing the name so I don’t get copyrighted in the future and for convience as well.

Names and terms will change as well as culture and traditions.

So yeah, technically not a Warrior Cats book anymore but it’s still a book about war and cats so it’s close enough. Maybe not as interesting but it does give me the freedom now to experiment.

Thank you for those who were waiting so long. The due date is TBA. I’ll update if anything changes. ❤️

Update| April 1, 2021

My computer has officially a stopped working(which was bound to happen eventually). I won’t be able to make new updates for a while until I get a new one. Doesn’t mean I’ll abandon the projects though. I planned on reworking Warriors and I don’t mind rewriting what I have for Birds of Prey.

I just wanted the let you guys know that the short hiatus will expand now with the lack of my pc. I hope you all have a great week and I will update when something happens.

HollowClan RO Personalities

BellySnap: Shy, timid, and caring. A cat you can trust to defends your name and support you in a battle but wouldn’t do the same for themself. He’s your best friend(or annoyance) and determined to stick with you no matter what.

WhiteNose: talkative, snarky, and rude. A cat that would point out your flaws in public no matter how embarrassing and loves to make a scene. She’s your rival but could be a friend if you are willing enough to bare through her attitude and behavior.

BlackStripe: sarcastic, mocking, and logical. He’s the type of guy you’ll love and hate. He loves to pick on cats that shows the slightest hint of anger when talking to him and follows them because he thinks it’s amusing to see them squirm. He’s supportive when he feels you’ve earned it and cold when you prove to be difficult. Can be a friend, can be an enemy. Depends on your attitude.

FrostStorm: sweet, passionate, and ambitious. Will stick up for you and fight for what’s right. She cares deeply about the cats around her and willingly sacrifice herself if it means her clan and loved ones will live. She can be a great friend or an annoyance.

WhiteNose- A pale ginger cat with a white spot on their nose. Female. (M/F)

TortoiseFoot- a sliver grey cat with yellow eyes. Female(M/F)

SkunkBadger: A black cat with blue eyes that carries white stripes similar to a badger’s. Male. (F/M) You can meet this cat on HollowClan border

RedNose: Tan patched cat with brown eyes and a red nose. Female. (F/F)

Update 2/26

Birds of Prey will start to have slow updates for a bit. I want to focus on writing Red River in hopes of getting the majority of the first part done. It’s gonna be a lot of work so I want to focus on the story for a while before making Birds of Prey my main priority again. I’ll update if I decide to go back to it or if any progress happens.

This is a new interactive fiction I’m working on. If you’re interested, please check it out. I have started on that too and it won’t be abandoned. The game will be complex and may take a while to get it into where I want it to. Progress Update| December 3rd, 2020

I think my game may be a bit too ambitious at the moment so I’m going to try to focus on something else with similar simpler mechanisms I want to add. Doesn’t mean I’m throwing my idea away, I’m just holding it off until I have enough confidence and knowledge to try and pull it off. I’ll get working on a short side story in the meantime as practice.

Progress Update(November 3rd, 2020)

Small update but I have created the ROs, just the base of them though. Their personalities are still a work-in-progress but I have a good idea of what I want them to be. Other characters that are outside of the ROs are still a work in progress. I don’t know why I created so many cats lol I might take some out.

I’m currently debating between Twine or ChoiceScript for this game... I like them both but I don’t know which is more suitable for the game and myself.
