Secondary addition to this, I DO have a constant internal monologue and about 40 running trains of thought at any given time, and I am fully able to converse with myself inside my head to figure out problems, so I think that makes up for not being able to visualize anything.

Fun? Tiercel fact of the day. I actually don't see pictures in my head. At all. (well, mostly). I think it's called aphantasia? Everything is sort of just a black void covered in a vague layer of static fuzz with occasional eigengrau patterns that dance around it. When I do actually picture something, it's either the abstract concept of that thing, or like viewing it through a very grainy, very fuzzy filter where I know what the details should be, but it's like someone put it under a layer of black in an art program and only turned the opacity on that black down to 90% However, when I dream, I do actually 'see' what's going on. Weird isn't it?

Little Species Affirming Things

Here are a few little species affirming things I've experienced recently, to let myself and others know that the world is not so bad afterall - "Well you're a dragon, it's your hoard." -My sister while I was out at the art store and lamenting my lack of organization for my giant pile of art supplies - Someone on a server joking about my blood being copper based (which it is for my species!) - Friends generally treating me like some sort of critter rather than a human (always appreciated) - "Alas, the dragon must go shopping" -One of my friends while I was yapping about not being a human but being made to do human things

A couple Pernese Dragon sketches to get a better grasp on their anatomy. I'm not 100% on the wings (they look a tad strange imo and I need to practice fingered wings again) but i'm happy with the more detailed fullbody.

Inked these with a Speedball Straight penholder, B6 nib, and teal Speedball india ink. Initial sketch was done in purple pencil.

forgot i ever drew this lol i found it in my files just now. a first attempt at Keymareth who i think got some nicer art later, but i originally wanted her to look somewhat like a variegated holly leaf. this was still a WIP when i replaced it with the new art so i didn't bother shading it much more or adding more patterns but ya that's old keym

Update! Tá níos mó milseán matcha agam. Milseán matcha éagsúla an uair seo. Níl mé cinnte an maith liom iad chomh mór céanna, tá púdar matcha istigh iontu agus tá se deannach agus tirim.

Update! I have more matcha candy. Different matcha candy this time. I'm not sure if i like them as much, they've got matcha powder inside and they're dusty and dry.

Fuair mé na milseáin chrua bainne beaga seo le blas matcha sa siopa agus tá cuma clocha abhann orthu. Tá siad crunchy cosúil le clocha freisin. Cuireann sé sin fonn orm- deich gcinn díobh a chur i mo bhéal.

Found these little matcha flavored milk candies at the store and they look like river stones. They're crunchy like river stones too. Makes me want to put like- 10 of them in my mouth.

loving your posts in irish! when did you start learning? it seems like a really cool language :0

I've been pretty on and off for the past year but I really doubled down on learning it recently (past few months), hence why I know words but my grammar is a little strange sometimes. And it is! Most of my motivation for learning is because I *am* Irish but I don't speak any due to growing up in the usa. I've also been really enjoying seeing your posts in spanish in return! I think more alterhumans and nonhumans need to embrace posting in non-english. It'd probably make a lot of information a lot more accessible to a lot more of us.
