Welcome to SpringClan!

SpringClan is my crossover project with Warrior Cats and the Simpsons. You'll follow a Clan with characters based on the Simpsons! This will usually be doodles, headcanons and small stories.

The location of the Clan is a massive open field next to a city (Springfield.)

The "Shut Up" one I technically made a while ago as I started revisiting the game... I'm sorry that scene is literally peak... To me that's my favorite scene in the game and I need people to know how important Lancer and Susie are to me,,,,,,,,,

Honestly real!!!

There are actually many scenes in episodes where Bart and Bob get along. Of course, Bob's anger and frustration as well as insanity tends to get in the way of any nice moments. I mean, every time he gets even close to killing Bart with nobody stopping him he instantly backs off. I'm not actually sure if he really wants to kill him or if he just wants people to take him seriously.

So sorry...I might go on a huge rant. Sideshow Bob found his way into my brain a year ago and he hasn't left since. I've been analyzing his mental state for the longest time. Um...This might be one of the biggest psychological breakthroughs of my life. Every other character I like has already been examined, but there's barely anything with Sideshow Bob.

Anyway...

You're correct about him not hating kids. In fact, I feel as if he actually cares for them. As Krusty's sidekick, I think he did enjoy entertaining and providing education to the children watching. The show was (at least at first) an educational one that taught children to read as well as made them laugh. Krusty though, being the clown he is, made the most of it about funny things, which included embarrassing and straight up abusing Bob.

Yes, I know it's a silly cartoon and I shouldn't take it seriously...BUT I HAVE TO. I CAN'T WATCH A SHOW WITHOUT TAKING IT SERIOUSLY 😣

So yeahhh...There may have been some issues in his mind beforehand, but if not, Krusty's treatment of him is what made him snap. Bob wanted to be taken seriously, so he framed the clown and had him arrested (which is both cruel and funny that because of this he ends up getting bullied by the circumstances of the show from here forward. Yes, I'm talking about the rake, the many gags that physically harm him, and his....I can't even count how many failures he had). He could've left the show at any point and probably made a big name for himself, but he didn't. He ended up making, in my opinion, a better thing for children to watch. It was educational, entertaining, soothing, and less violent...Except for Itchy and Scratchy because he promised to keep them lol.

He truly did care about kids. When Bart and him first met, they literally had a little therapy session because he saw that Bart wasn't happy. He was gentle and asked questions about the little boy's self-esteem. He actually wanted to help him. I'm not even sure he blamed Bart when he worried about Krusty. I think that prison was really when Bob started to bubble up in his own muddled mind. Prison was where he hated Krusty most, and sadly, he began to hate the kid who put him there. Yet the next episode he's in, he never even tried to hurt Bart. It was only after the child forced him to prison again, he decided he wanted revenge. Even then... I'm still unsure if that's what he truly wanted (and in the more recent episodes it seems like he didn't).

Even while trying to kill Bart, he did in fact still have some morals to him. He did get a little redemption arc in season 8, but of course the cops ruined it. I also appreciate his little friendship with Lisa. So so cute. I just think his mental state is a tad bit....messed up (not just a tad... There are a few episodes where it's clear he completely lost it). And I'm not gonna lie, the police force in this show is about 80-90% the problem. They actually make me angry sometimes haha. But it's a cartoon whose job is to make me laugh so I shouldn't take it so seriously. I STILL DO THOUGH, AND NOBODY IS GONNA STOP ME!!!!

I do appreciate these more recent Sideshow Bob episodes that show he's getting better. It's actually kind of pleasant, and I hope they do more with him at some point! But yes, he and Bart have a huge possibility of getting along!
