Basically How It Happened: A Trans Comic Collection - Coming Soon!

Hey hey! I will be tabling at FlameCon in NYC next month. And in addition to some prints (keep an eye out!) and copies of Transphoria Vol. 1, I'll be selling my first ever book of my own comics!

Basically How It Happened is a 64-page, full color collection of my autobiographical comics about my coming out and transition. It's the first time I've prepped and printed my own work and I'm very happy with how it came out!

After the con, I'll start selling remaining copies in my Ko-Fi store, as well as prepping and selling an e-book version.

I'm really excited for the con and for people to get their hands on the book!

“Species Dysphoria” (2021)

I’ve been waiting to post this one for a little while now! This comic was made for the Inky Paws Zine, a collaborative fiction zine created by nonhumans and alterhumans!

In hindsight, I should’ve probably leaned a little bit more into making this a fictional piece to better fit the zine’s theme…nevertheless, I’m still happy with it! This was something I created to try and articulate some of my personal feelings about my species dysphoria through the lens of someone who’s also trans, and maybe feels that those two identities are really the same.

So...it's been a bit since I've done any actual art. Like about a month. I have a fun project in the works, but a copious amount of scope creep means I don't know when it will be done. The finish line seems to be moving farther away with every day. It shouldn't be doing that :(

Summer also tends to be the busy season for architecture, so I'm also getting fairly drained during the work week. There aren't enough hours in the day.

And stress is..exhausting..Anyways, thanks for being patient.
