Apart from the above places, there are many other sanctuaries and parks for you to choose from. Once you have decided on the place, you need to start planning. It includes everything from deciding the type of safari to the budget of the entire trip.

Always carry some food along with you like energy bars, biscuits and water bottles to stay energized & hydrated for the entire ride.
You need to make the payment in advance which includes the tour guide fee, the charges of the safari vehicle and the driver fee.
Carrying a medical kit is advisable in case of unfortunate events. Also, don’t forget to carry any medicine you are on.
There are certain rules and regulations like not feeding the animals or stepping out of your vehicle in the jungle, etc. which need to be followed throughout the safari ride. It is also advised to see the animals from a distance and not make unnecessary noises to distract them for they are not used to human interactions.

How To Prepare For a Jungle Safari?

One of the most cherished experiences is to spectate wildlife in their natural habitat. When you wish to witness the wildlife, jungle safaris are one of the most famous ways to do that. However, preparing yourself for the ride is a challenge in itself. Apart from the things you need to have with you, it is also important to not expect too much to avoid disappointments. Here are the things you need to keep in mind to be prepared:
Always carry cash: While you feel the breeze messing up your hair, hear the birds singing, smell the fragrance of the newly blossomed flowers and see the breath-taking view in front of you; it is always better to have some cash in case of emergencies.
Check the network availability: Although the best thing to do is to stay unplugged from the rest of the world to fully enjoy the ride. However, if you need to stay connected, contact your resort or guide and find out about network accessibility.
Be ready to be disconnected: Being disconnected from the outside world seems a bit uneasy in the beginning, but once you hop on your ride, it’s like a blessing in disguise. Away from the hustle of society and the constant ringing of phones, nature refreshes your mind and heart.
Keep a check on the temperature: Whether you are thinking of visiting in winters or summers, you are going to witness extreme weather conditions. You can always take the help of Google for this information. Sometimes, the days are hot and the nights are cold, and you need to be prepared for both. If you are wearing light clothes for your day safari, don’t forget to carry a jacket as it can get chilly at night.
Be aware of the safari rules: Even though the rules are meant to be broken, that’s not the case when it comes to safaris. You are not supposed to feed animals, be loud or get out of your vehicle at any time. Also, wearing dull colours over bright ones is advisable. There are a lot of other rules and regulations which need to be followed throughout. Since you are entering their residing place, it is your responsibility to follow the set rules.

Best Time To Visit Jim Corbett National Park

During the unprecedented Covid-19 period, I felt as if I were living in a box. However, after a few months, I decided to step out of my house and reimagine the beauty of nature. I've always been an adventurous person who enjoys forests, jungles and safaris. To escape the sadness of the pandemic, I decided to travel to Jim Corbett National Park. To avoid last-minute stress, I booked my safari through Tigerwalah.
Jim Corbett National Park is a large and exquisite place in India, attracting tourists from all over the world to witness nature's hidden treasures. It is endowed with natural bounty in the form of diverse flora. It is an extraordinary location where I got the sight of endangered animals, beautiful fauna and flora, pleasant weather, great views and much more. I've been to this park a few times to experience the beauty of this place in different seasons.
The park remains open from the middle of November to the middle of June. However, a few zones of this park open according to a specific season. There is a Jhirna zone in the park that is open throughout the year. This park's famous Birjani zone welcomes visitors from mid-October to mid-June and the Dhikala zone welcomes visitors from mid-November to mid-June. During the monsoon season, the Dhikala and Birjani zones' roads are completely washed away. Furthermore, after sunset, the park's gates close and no driving out is permitted.
Winter Season:
The best time to visit Jim Corbett National Park is the winter season which is from November to February. This is the time of the year when the region enjoys the winter season with beautiful weather and all of the zones are open for visitors to see & enjoy. I visited the park in January and my experience was a true abode of beautiful and unseen birds for me, as I saw an unseen variety of birds there. Aside from birds, I also saw a majestic Bengal tiger roaming around the park during the winter season. This park's temperature drops to 5 degrees Celsius at night. The daytime, on the other hand, is quite balmy and pleasant. Animals come out during the day to sunbathe, so you can easily spot them there.
Monsoon Season:
Though the monsoon season is not the most appealing time to visit Jim Corbett National Park, I recommend it if you do not want to visit this site in a crowd. During this season, the majority of the crowds decline to make it an excellent time to go trekking.
Summer Season:
The temperature of the park remains quite high during the summer season. During the day, the weather becomes excessively hot and scorching reaching temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius. This is also the best time to visit because I was able to see the majority of the animals. During this season, you can go river rafting and have an unforgettable sight of rare wildlife and bird species.
You can visit this park at any time of year, depending on your schedule and preferences. The most important thing to remember before planning your trip is to pre-book your safari because there is always a long waiting list due to the popularity of this place. I always booked my safari with Tigerwalah whenever I visited this national park because of their excellent services. They personalised my trip to my preferences and I had a wonderful experience exploring this national park. If you want to enjoy the beauty of this park without worrying about anything. I recommend you to visit their website and try their services for once.
