BACKGROUND

matilda  is  the  youngest  daughter  of  the  vance  family  (  think  the  hadids  )  .  her  mother  was  a  famous  actress  during  the  eighties  ,  and  her  father  an  ageing  rock  bad-boy  ,  who  raised  both  tillie  and  her  sister  directly  in  the  spotlight  .  their  mother  particularly  was  most  eager  for  her  daughters  to  succeed  ,  with  her  fervently  pushing  them  towards  a  life  of  modelling  from  the  moment  they  could  walk  .  

it's  safe  to  say  that  the  pressure  of  modelling  took  its  toll  on  tillie.  she  had  never  been  interested  in  modelling  ,  unlike  her  sister  ,  yet  she  felt  an  overwhelming  need  to  succeed  .  it  led  to  ...  a  lot  of  unhealthy  thinking  &  habits  ,  with  tillie  somewhat  disappearing  from  the  limelight  between  the  ages  of  eighteen  and  nineteen  without  explanation  -  nobody  could  know  that  she  was  trying  to  fight  an  eating  disorder  ,  of  course  .  

after  that  ,  tillie  quit  modelling  as  she  had  known  it  and  turned  to  instagram  .  she  felt  that  she  could  present  herself  in  the  way  that  SHE  wanted  ,  rather  than  in  a  picture-perfect  ,  fake  way  that  had  made  her  feel  empty  inside  .  she  also  discovered  that  she  MUCH  prefers  being  behind  the  camera  ,  with  her  second  instagram  account  dedicated  solely  to  her  photography  really  kicking  off  .

PERSONALITY

super  bubbly  ...  kinda  has  0  ability  to  STOP  talking  hehe  ...  she  just  has  no  filter  n  loves  talking  to  people  ig  !  definitely  the  type  to  talk  to  strangers  in  the  grocery  store  (  irl  me  would  hate  her  BUT  we  progress  )

she's  caring  to  the  point  of  being  a  TAD  nosy  ...  like  she's  the  perfect  shoulder  to  cry  on  ,  but  she  sometimes  doesn't  know  when  to  take  a  step  back  and  let  people  feel  WITHOUT  trying  to  intervene  :/  her  heart  TOO  big  

she  definitely  still  carries  a  lot  of  insecurities  from  her  modelling  days  .  although  she  tries  to  put  on  an  act  that  everything  is  fine  and  dandy  ,  it  just  isn't  :/  but  she  will  NEVER  let  her  mask  slip  .  i  guess  you  could  say  that  stops  people  from  feeling  they  can  get  close  to  her  ,  because  she  does  build  these  walls  up

she's  all  for  body  positivity  &  raising  awareness  for  different  causes  ;  her  photography  account  is  heavily  dedicated  to  photographing  people  of  all  shapes  ,  sizes  n  colours  ,  among  her  other  work  .  

she  also  contributes  to  a  few  charities  as  she  believes  in  paying  back  .  

she  recently  returned  to  her  family's  reality  TV  show  ,  though  her  appearances  are  rare  .
