TIM BUCKLEY Starsailor. Archive Quality 1970 German first press 9-track stereo LP on a purple Straight label, Tim’s most uncompromising & artistic statement, ranging from the sublime ‘Song To The Siren’ to the jazzy 'Moulin Rouge’ to the experimental vocal tape-work of the album’s title track, silk laminated picture sleeve with purple Electrola company inner. Obtained from a former publisher collection & exported to the States, this copy has sat on a shelf in mint condition for decades until it was recently picked up on our US buying travels. The cover is near mint with just a spot of faint ring wear & the vinyl is mint & unplayed. Impossible to beat!I TBKLPST670998 available from http://eil.com #eildotcom #eil #records #vinyl #rarerecords #rarelps #timbuckley

Tim Buckley ☆ Feb 14, 1947 – June 29, 1975

Happy Birthday Tim, today will never again just be Valentines Day for me. Since discovering your music my life has been changed for the better in the strangest, most wonderful ways and the same can be said for countless others, rest in peace, star-sailor.
"His music holds such enormous truth in it - the truth of human love, longing, yearning, heartache and humour that it remains in our lives even to this day. It will keep on keeping’' on, too. That which is true remains forever. Tim Buckley is gone, but his Blue Melody sings on." - Lee Underwood
