Writing anything 13th Doctor related is absolute hell if you need to research anything.

You'll be trying to find out what kind of sandwich it is that Graham always carries with him, but you'll have to sift through 3 different reddit threads with a sum total of about 50 comments talking about how "Jodie was great but let down by the writing" (sigh), how they wish they could have gotten a season with 13 "written by someone competent" (double sigh), how her writers "had never watched any Doctor Who" (infinite sigh) or how Chibnall is "a hack" and "ruined Doctor Who" (only one sigh again for both of those combined because I've already read that shit too often) before you find the link to the tardis.wiki entry for "cheese and pickle sandwich".

I keep thinking about Missy’s line “You’d go to hell if she asked, and she would” and how “and she would” is the like. the distinguishing part of that sentence?

Because frequently in doctor/companion dynamics there’s a lot of devotion/ codependency, but less often do you have the companion asking or demanding of the doctor that kind of ill advised personal bending of the rules. which is not wholly unique to Clara either (Father’s Day and The Girl Who Waited come to mind), but she’s certainly the one who takes it the farthest
