the worst part about ferrari sacrificing leclerc for sainz, pretending they didn't so they can credit sainz with doing all the hard work for the monza podium and singapore win, continuing to take the sf-23 further and further away from leclerc's style while refusing to mention that whenever they talk about how sainz is in peak form while leclerc has to adapt and follow sainz's lead with the way he sets up the car, hanging him out to dry in the media is that, like.

we're doing all this to the guy that was fighting for the championship last season, to benefit someone sitting p5 in the standings and whose "peak form" and "best f1 season to date", in a car built specifically for him, sees him with the same number of wins, less podiums and less points than he had at this point last season.

we're making a championship fighting driver change everything about his driving style that makes him who he is for a guy who is not, in fact, having his best season to date, is probably gonna end the season again in a midfield position and would be lower still if ferrari hadn't robbed leclerc of five (5) podiums this season either through incompetence or deliberate choice to sacrifice him.
