I think we're starting to dilute the meaning of "terminally online". Like, no, it's not terminally online to have eccentric opinions about a popular TV show – people like that existed before "online" was a thing. Unless we're talking at least an "it's homophobic for gay furries to have rat fursonas because they're depicting gay people as vermin", the onlineness falls well short of terminal.

One of my absolute favorite tropes is “We have taken the one you love most!” “Oh, have you? Good fukken luck lmao” *distant screams of kidnappers as loved one escapes* or the flipside: “We’ve kidnapped you!” “You are in so much trouble. You are in so much fucking trouble. You are in the most trouble ever, oh my god.” *DOOR EXPLODES INWARDS AS LOVED ONE ARRIVES* and the alternate: *vehicle pulls up, door opens, person is shoved out, door slams, vehicle screeches away* “Did you get kidnapped??” “For a minute yeah”

my biggest pet peeve in the world is when landlubbers design cool fantasy pirate cabins but completely forget that they’re on a fucking boat. yeah here’s a loose shelf with 50 glass bottles of rum on the top shelf. no there isn’t any sort of guard on the edge. “yeah sorry cap’n we hit One Wave a little weird and every single glass item you own crashed into the ground at once”

I love how Arakawa clearly wrote detailed backstories for her characters and just like… never elaborates on them. I found an old interview where she was asked why she didn’t include a resolution for Hawkeye and Mustangs goals and her response was essentially “cause this story is about Ed :)”

She’s my biggest inspiration.

Also, some of you don’t actually know what enemies to lovers is huh... Where is the clashing of principles? The righteous fury? The gut wrenching guilt of having unwanted affection for someone who is actively trying to destroy everything you’ve worked your entire life to build? The overwhelming anger thrown at the object of your affection to mask your anger for yourself? The reluctant truce brought about by extenuating circumstances? The begruding birth of respect? The creeping realization that you are on the wrong side? The long agonizing journey to redemption? The slow quiet blossoming of a friendship? The underlying current of a desire that has always been there but you have never been in a position to act on before? The fear that your antagonistic history carries too much baggage? The resigned acceptance that a friendship is more than you are even worthy for? A heroic display that solidifies your position as one of the good guys? The epiphany of love and a hint that it might not be so unrequited? The inevitable conclusion??

Honestly, you guys see two people on opposite sides and just skip to the lovers part....
