I’m probably not going to be able to post much today for Furby Appreciation in time, but I am celebrating in spirit!

This is Grimbles, he's a homemade furby! His lore is that he is a shapeshifting creature who had spent his days slipping through alleyways and living in trash piles, when he saw, in the late nineties, a child carrying a furby. This cherished item was being treated so well, that Grimbles decided to take the form of a furby himself, to also be treated so kindly. Grimbles only eats trash and cookies, but bottlecaps are his favorite, as when he'd first made the change to furby, a human threw a bottle cap at him, to scare him away. Grimbles thought of this bottlecap as his first gift, and decided then that he would always collect bottlecaps, as a way to remember this kind human. Grimbles loves dirt and grime, and will rot any cut vegetation within a 3 foot radius of him.

First of all, I am SO honored to have you submit an ask for me to draw Grimbles. I have your Grimbles photos pop up in feed and I’m always in awe of how pleasant they are. Im just going to say when I saw this, I practically screamed. /pos

That being said, I hope I did Grimbles Justice!! I absolutely love this little bottle cap stealing gremlin so much, and learning more about him makes me so happy. I had a lot of fun trying to get the variation within the fur colors, and especially get that lovely jewel rendering! I will gladly sacrifice all bottlecaps to Grimbles

Furby Drawing Requests!

I want to get better at drawing furbys, as well as learn more about your adorable electronic buddies, so for a few days, I’ll have my asks open to drawing requests! However, in return, I want to learn more about YOUR little guys! Whether it’s a fun fact or their entire personality, I wanna learn more about the furby’s I am drawing!
