ZOROBIN

So, finally this ship broke through my shipper barriers Dont laugh,they’re not that weak . So Robin and Zoro, Zoro has always been one of my favourite straw hat, I literally kept reading the manga in the beginning only because of him and my enthusiastic guy friends When I saw Tashigi, I admit I thought ‘oh, so is this Zoro’s girl?’ BUT my reaction was ‘meh’ Frankly I didn’t find anything interesting about their ship, it felt a little main stream and shoujo-ey to me, and I felt Zoro just, deserved something more exciting. Now when Nico Robin came, I was surprised, and that simple sentence he told her stating he didn’t trust her and Robin just smiling in return gave me the doki doki’s There were a lot if small moments which just made me more and more interested with this ship like the ones in sky island and of course when the whole Robin betrayal thing happened. Zoro was calm, through out, except when he heard about her past though, he wasn’t. I’m not gonna go around naming all the Zorobin moments but yes I admit there might not be much evidence BUT they are a good ship. and Tumblr posts on then just released the fan girl inside me Zoro is more serious than the other straw hats and Robin is the most calm and collected one. But by saying Zoro is serious its not like he’s one if those kuuderes who are all cool and don’t talk much and are emotionless, he’s pretty childish and has quite the rowdy side, which makes the girls swoon and I think this really balances well with Robin’s cool collected and yet a little weird personality. If he was alone with one of the girls, I can imagine Zoro fighting with Nami, Perona and Tashigi , but Robin… Robin I just see sizzling unspoken chemistry. Like if they were just alone together on the ship they’d just enjoy each others presence, a few words exchanged, Robin would read her book, Zoro would peak at her while trying to sleep this would cause her to giggle and they’d start talking. If in the heat of a battle then perfect teamwork , and yea basically his reactions with Robin would be different from what he’d have with the other girls. The age gap issue was something I had to over come, but then I did, cause seriously, No one seems to age properly in this manga. And if Boa can have a crush on Luffy, Robin and Zoro are more than acceptable. With regard to Robin, I think she finds Zoro interesting, I also think she’s patient enough for him. People say she deserves someone more romantic, but I seriously can’t imagine that, she’s a pirate and an archaeologist, she has more stuff to worry about than her dates and romantic gestures. Which is why again I feel Zoro and Robin would make a great couple. No words needed no rules, they’d keep their relationship to themselves. Nothing about where the relationship is heading and time for marriage stuff, they’re pirates, Luffy’s crew. They’ll just follow their captain and occasionally give into their passion and enjoy their moments together. In the end I know Oda will most probably not make them a couple, but I do hope he doesn’t pair him with anyone else, so that I can believe my dreams~
