TIPS TO STAY SAFE ONLINE!

Hello, blogging community! This is going to be my very first blog post, and I'm doing it for school. So, for my blog, I'll be sharing our E-tech lesson with you, which includes tips on how to keep safe online! Our world is continuing to move forward because of technology, and because of that, we should be more careful. The ever-increasing sophistication of today's technologies has both positive and negative effects on our society. This is why we must take precautions when using the internet. It has been an eye-opening experience, and I feel compelled to impart our lesson on online security to the world. So here are some tips to help us be safe online.

Be cautious about what you share and where you share it.

Do not just accept the terms and conditions; you should also read them.

Check out the privacy policy page of a website.

Learn the security features of the social networking site you use.

Do not share your passwords with anyone.

Avoid logging in to public networks or Wi-Fi.

Do not talk to strangers, whether online or face-to-face.

Never post anything about a future vacation.

Add friends you know in real life.

Avoid visiting untrusted websites.

Install and update antivirus software on your computer.

If you have Wi-Fi at home, make it a private network by adding a password.

Avoid downloading anything from untrusted websites.

Purchase the software; do not rely on pirated ones.

Do not reply or click links from suspicious emails.

There are many aspects of the internet that require our attention. These are only some of the topics that we covered in our discussion about maintaining your safety when using the internet; however, there are many more things that we need to take into account, and I am open to receiving further tips and suggestions! We should always keep in mind that there are a lot of things happening on the internet and that our top priority should be to stay safe.
