I've never had BIG CELEBRITY/INFLUENCER fame, but believe it I've had drama. Plenty of it. 😂 I can say I passed and graduated in certain careers. I majored in being accused of being the villain, the evil mastermind. You don't really have to worry about me in that regard. Unless it somehow gets really, really, really bad at some point.

I may "make fun of" INFJs but, to be absolutely clear, most of the people that I hold dearest are INFJs. My bro4ever, my tech half, my BFF bestie, probably my greatest contributor too. Also my top favorite psychology blog that I don't ever wanna miss a post of is run by one. And I'm not sure but, could be, the owner of my favorite store, which has made everything so much easier - and possible - for me. So please, never think for a second that I dislike the type. Y'all can irritate me sometimes, as can anybody, but I've built tolerance 'cause you're more than worth it. (Unless you're like... the absolute worst of INFJs...)

Everyone's different, nevertheless. So there's still the getting-to-know-you and getting-on-the-same-page to be had.

(Finally, no more John Wick protagonism. Now on to a different angle with Ballerina! Let's see what this story brings and shows. 😮) "You want to win? CHANGE. THE. TERMS." Among many other things I'll later write about, I appreciated how realistic they were being about lacks and limits, yet would still maneuver around them and increasingly get the hang of it.

Alright. It's John Wick's world week. I may not be in the most optimal state to take them all in, but I'll dive in anyway. Instead of doing as I usually do, however, making several separate posts for each, I'm just going to have this one for all of them. And if there's anything I'd like to note, I'll annotate it here.

Monday, July 7th. John Wick - Chapter 1

(Hey, I don't get tired of this film. Those were some times when I first got to see this movie.) "I once saw him kill 3 men in a bar, with a PENCIL." What a Pain In the Ass, that John. 👹 He be making threats as if he's not in the most inescapable position, absolutely checkmated. Damn guy would be long gone if it wasn't for the timely assists. 🥺

(I remember much less of this chapter because, when I watched it, I wasn't linking anything to anything. So the rewatch will be like a whole new experience to me now.) "You demand nothing of me, Mr. Antonio. This kingdom is mine and mine alone." And to think all John ever wanted was a break. Sometimes I can't tell if he was nerfed with his introversion or OPed by it. Both, it's both. Still, dude be going around with 3+ DOTs and HP below 20% ON TOP OF CRIPPLING GRIEF. Guys, this isn't even his best. Let him fully heal. I dare you. 🤭

Wednesday, July 9th. John Wick - Chapter 3

(This one I fully forgot. I thought I had watched bits of it, but maybe I only got it narrated/summarized to me. Soooo... going in blank tonight. Get your snacks and etc!) "That's what makes you especial. I wouldn't have stopped." Gotta admit, this plot armor is beyond inexplicable. How is he even alive still? Jeez. I mean, thanks, but wth?! The massive web of connections between different people and points is also so intriguing, fascinating, and mind-blowing to me. Really a tangled mess/order. And of course, you can guess which characters have me in awe, cheering and applauding. Damn. 🥲

Friday, July 11th. John Wick - Chapter 4

(Hmm... Wonder what this chapter holds...) "Don't insult my gift." That was a long af movie. All I'll say is that I don't look forward to encountering such a conceited snob in my lifetime, but I bet the likes of him exist somewhere.

Bye, losers. Fight Like A Girl's official music video is out and I'm off to watch hardcore and badass underdogs (or "underdogs") beat the crap out of a multitude of lame extras.

One thing makes me happy. And that's that, although the underdog winning at others' games isn't always guaranteed (or even the aim), you can count on the utter humiliation that sooner or later will come to those trying to act like they were "above". It's just inherently there, waiting to be untangled.

I had an ex. Yeah, that ex. 💀

He'd spend every day, all day, "defending" me against what people said about me that was off or just not nice. And sure, many would think, "Aww, that's so sweet. He must really love you!" No. He loved gossip and arguing; that's what he loved. All the while, I was merely a topic of interest to be dissected and discussed by everyone, no matter how much that put me in an exposed and vulnerable position. It wasn't flattering. It was unspeakably harmful to me.

It's one thing to let your loved ones know that you're on their side and to put others in their place when they're talking shit, and it's another to endlessly obssess about what image others have of them, constantly trying to "fix" it (in cases, only to end up swayed). At one point, you should be fine simply saying something along the lines of, "You're being an idiot and you should seriously reflect on your choices or even seek professional help. Maybe we could talk again once you've reached enough revelations to not be such a hindrance. But ideally, I wouldn't have to deal with you ever again." And move on.

I know it's hard at times. Especially when you genuinely admire and cherish someone. You can hardly stand anyone painting them as anything below what they are to you. But you're doing this person a disservice if you keep talking about their good & great features to people who would only acknowledge them to figure out how to go around them or how to emulate them.

Believe me, I often wish I could ramble on forever, getting into online discourses, about how amazing Taylor Swift is whenever she's underestimated or underappreciated, why and how, but that would only cause more trouble (more people trying to find more ways to attack her, more people trying to be more like her, etc.). Her results speak for it, too. Who cares if some fail to see it? So I only go off to a limited degree. And just keep being a Swiftie.

Artists, especially those who are trailblazers, do not need so much focus on whether or not they are being appropriate or acceptable. They're not there for that crowd.

Reassurance when they are doubtful? Fantastic. But when they're confident? Please just join in the action and ignore the rest.

Before leaving Independence Day weekend behind, just gonna add that it is an understatement to say that this is very, very, very depressing. 😔

It's heavy (and draining) just to think about. I hope all my girls and women are fine and handling this climate well enough. And if not, that I can keep finding and sharing ways to deal or at least cope with it. 😐

Here's another concept I've had floating around for a while. How do characters know what's going on with others? I mean behind and outside of what is already willingly presented or made public.

A. Extensive Psychology/Sociology Knowledge. B. Heightened Intuition & Divination. C. Advanced Technology (or just being a goddamn creep that hacks and/or spies w/ devices)

They could be somewhat combined, too. e.g. My character may be mostly A but indulge in B as well (even if they don't really believe in it) - yet have nothing but scorn for C and would only see it justified under extremely dire conditions for a positive outcome that makes it worthwhile or when it is consented.
