Torn Paper || Yua || Chapter Two || Body Reaction
Things were happening a bit too fast for Yua to keep up with. Truth or Dare had won? Hm. Yua didn’t know what that was, but it sounded a bit... intimidating. The origami artist didn’t know what to expect. She had never done it before. But, if everyone else voted for it, then she supposed she would do it.
As she left her room, she had an uneasy feeling. But, that wasn’t too unusual for Yua. So, she would have been able to shake it off... But the screaming of some other students only cemented her fears. Shakily, she made her way to see what was happening, weakly struggling against the taller students...
Only to find the dead body of Suzaku Fujiki.
The tears came before Yua could think. Tears pouring out of her eyes, streaming down her face as she looked upon the scene in front of her. Why? Why? W͢͠͞h̸̡̧y̢ ̨́̕wa͢s̀ ͢şo͡҉meon̸̡̨e̡̢̡ ͘҉d̸́e̡ad̕?̷̡̀ Yua backed into the nearest wall, and dropped to the floor, and curled into a ball, clutching her knees to her chest. W̶͢h̵̸̡͞y̷͟?̨͠͞

Cold Paper | Yua | Chapter 2 Poem | Open
It was time to share poems again? Oh no. Oh no oh no oh no... Yua wasn’t really sure how much long she could keep doing this. It was nerve-wracking, having to try and read her poem without stuttering, and with everyone looking at her... What if she messed up? What if they didn’t like it? Yua clutched her notebook with her haiku close to her chest as she looked at the floor.
Other people were sharing theirs... that meant that Yua had to go at some time, right? Well, might as well do this sooner than later. Get it over with faster. The origami artist opened her notebook and cleared her throat, before speaking in a quiet voice. “Uh... excuse me? This is... um, my, uh, poem... Uh, I hope it’s... alright...”
“Cold nights in winter The ice scarred the frozen heart The glass window breaks”
She looked down again. “Sorry it... wasn’t that, um, long...”

Yua looked up, to see Cain approaching her. She looked down at her empty notebook, before closing it, and choosing to focus on Cain’s shoes instead. They seemed pretty interesting right now.
“A-ah... uh... hello, Finis-sama...”
He was asking her how she was doing? She nodded her head in response.
“Uh... I’m... I’m okay... Sorry for worrying... worrying you... um, how are you?”
Attempting Poet Tree | Yua | Chapter 2 Event | Open
Writing poems again? Well, since this was the literature club, that made sense. When signing up for this, the origami artist had expected it to just be… reading books? But, poetry sufficed. She was okay with writing this. The big problem was sharing it… Would they have to do that again?
If they were sharing it again… Yua had to make sure her poem was acceptable to be read by others. Would they get mad at her if it wasn’t perfect? They might? So, Yua had to make a good one.
She stared down at her blank sheet of paper, not knowing what to write. Any idea she thought of wasn’t good. Her hand shook, making her pencil shake as well. Yua wished this club was just reading…

Yua Cries For 10 Hours Straight || Yua || Chapter 1 || Body Reaction
Something was burning. Yua didn’t know what it was, but something was. And as the origami artist grew closer, shrieks sounded out. Someone was shrieking. Yua trembled as she inched closer and closer. And then, she saw it.
As if someone had released the floodgates in Yua’s eyes, she began sobbing. Carrie... Box-chan... dead. Both dead. Carrie, who Yua had never spoken to. Box-chan, someone she might have taken comfort in... Both of them were dead on the ground. They were dead, and somebody had taken their lives for no reason.
Yua fell to her knees, still sobbing. Investigate? Trial? The words fell on deaf ears as she continued to cry and to cry.

Yua’s eyes darted around the room nervously. She did this for a bit, before her eyes settled on the ground.
“Uh... thank you... you don’t... uh... don’t need to vote for... vote for me... um... I’m sure there are.... uh, there are a lot of people... people who would do a better job than me...”
She looked up, panicked, and waved her hands in front of her face.
“B-but you can... can if you, uh, want to! You don’t... uh... don’t have to listen to me!”
Exciting Elections Established || Suzu || Chapter One Club Event || [OPEN]
If there was anything Suzu loved to do, it was to make the others around her as content and comfortable as possible. This was one of the reasons why she made her occupation and her talent what it is to this day. That’s why she had to be so confident in not only herself, but in everyone else and in their abilities to be able to do their very best, unless she was proven wrong in the end. Even if they were stuck in a disastrous location such as a high school, she was determined to help make everyone happy. Perhaps, that’s why she went to the next meeting that Monika had called in. Perhaps, that’s why she listened to every word the club president, as well as the Ultimate Class Representative said. Perhaps, that’s why she decided to go and run for vice president of the Literature Club.
Of course, even she wished that the jovial and hopeful young woman would help them find a way out. Wasn’t she stuck here like everyone else? With the murder threat still hanging over their pretty little heads, people may have been still feeling a bit unsafe. That’s what Suzu wanted to change; she wanted to change the environment of the entire building. Surely, no one was outright idiotic enough to actually commit murder, right? There was no reason to, not when the friendships that were being built were working out so well…Most of the time, but that’s beside the point. The point was, she had to make a stand, and however she could do it, she would take it. Various students could see the clinical hypnotherapist walking up to her stand, clearing her throat to get some of the students’ attentions.
“Now, I’m not a grand expert of talking in front of a crowd, so bear with me here.” She had to get that out there. Honestly, she could have left that out, but nevertheless, she continued on. “Regardless, I feel like I would be capable of the Vice President position for a variety of reasons. I believe I’d be able to communicate ideas across to each and every one of you concerning our club, and I’d give it my absolute best shot to help make things fair and positive for everyone’s benefits. I also consider myself to be rather responsible, and with that, I pray you bestow the wonderful honor onto me with these votes.”
With that, she was down and back at her seat. Will she be able to sway her peers? Who knows.

Suzu was running for vice president? The idea of that shouldn’t have surprised Yua. She thought Suzu would make a good president. After Suzu finished her speech, Yua looked down, before quietly clapping.
“That was... that was very good... very good, Koyanagi-sama... I think... I think you’d make a good vice president...”
Yua spoke quietly, not stating the fact she barely knew what a vice president was. The entire election thing was pretty foreign to her.
“Uh... If you wanted... wanted me to... I could vote for... vote for you...”
Yua looked at her feet.

You Don’t Have To Vote For Yua In Fact Don’t Do That | Yua | Chapter 1 Event | Open
Club officer elections? Yua was quite confused at first. She had never done anything like that before. Well, she barely understood the idea of clubs at first as well. But it seemed like they had to vote for people for these positions, and could run if they wanted to. This was quite a conflict. Did they have to run? If so...
Yua slightly raised her hand. “Um... I’m probably... probably not the best... the best, or even... even going to be good... but I’d say I’m alright... alright at writing things... so if you wanted me... wanted me to be secretary... I could do that... I’d be useless at anything else though...”
Was that running? Yua didn’t know. She lowered her hand, and her head with it. Public speaking had never been Yua’s strong suit. It was scary. But now came the other hard part. How was she supposed to choose people to do these things? She couldn’t pick just one person?
Were the votes of these made public? Would everyone know who she voted for? If they were, she could upset someone. Oh no.

Yua wasn’t exactly coming over to look at Kouta’s work. It wasn’t like she had anything to show in return. However, she wasn’t prepared for him to cover it so quickly. Yua’s eyes widened in panic.
“S-sorry! I d-didn’t m-mean to l-look!”
She turned her eyes down when Kouta turned to face her. She wasn’t exactly good with eye contact. Or talking to people. Or people.
“N-no... N-not that m-much... I’ve t-tried to write h-haikus, b-but it ends up t-too long...”
All Yua really wanted to do was fold the paper she was writing on, but this was the literature club, not origami club. She was here to write.
“H-have you had any b-better luck, M-Murakami-sama?”
poetry is hard and so are titles || Kouta || Chapter 1 Club Event [ Open ]
Kouta had been jotting down some vague concepts for a poem when he heard some shuffling behind him. Someone coming over? To ask a question? To read over his non-existent poem?
“Uhm–!”
With an impressive speed for someone so frail-looking, the blond lunged forward to cover the scratch paper with his entire body. You know. As one does. Almost instinctively, he lets out an awkward laugh. Yikes. He must look ridiculous right now!
“Ah–sorry…! Uhm, that’s–it’s a force of habit, I guess. My unfinished work is always really embarrrassing, hahah… Uhm, not that I really have much of anything done yet…”
Ack, why are you still talking, Murakami!? No one wants to listen to you blather on like that! He can’t help it, the words all just seem to tumble out at once. It seemed like there was an apology in there somewhere, but the kid isn’t making any moves to uncover his paper or anything…so it doesn’t really feel like much of an apology. Just a typical, instinctual act of politeness without much of a driving force or meaning behind it.
Hoping to at least drive some meaning home, Kouta turns to face the person who approached him more directly! Right! He should really…try his best to be involved with him clubmates however he can, right?
“Have…you had any luck writing a poem yet?”
The question feels more sincere, at least. The boy waits patiently, fiddling with the pen in his hands.

Yua flinched as Box-chan reached to pat her head, before relaxing after realizing that the box-wearing girl was only lightly patting her. She wasn’t hitting her or pulling her hair or anything. She blushed a little more.
“O-okay...if y-you want to... D-do you d-do origami, B-Box-chan-sama?”
She looked down at the book again.
“...Is there a-any p-paper?”
[ Folding : Yua ]
Ah. Shy about her talent. She could certainly relate to that. But Yu-chan should be much more confident! It was a very respectable talent!
“Oh! Butterflies…l-like your hairpiece!” she coos, clapping her hands together gently.
“I…never got to compliment it before, i-it’s so cute…! It’s suits you so well…! Are…paper-hairpieces a thing?”
Apparently cardboard boxes were.

Yua reached up and touched her hairpiece. She smiled and blushed slightly when Box-chan complimented her.
“Th-thank you... It’s n-not p-paper though...”
She looked back up at Box-chan, not meeting her eyes. Or the circles on the box. Were those Box-chan’s eyes? How did she see in the box? Yua wondered.
“I d-don’t know if they are... M-maybe... I’ve n-never made one...”

As someone approached her, Yua looked up, before quickly drying her tears. The other girl did not look happy. Yua was crying, and probably bothering her. She should stop doing that. Yua nodded.
“Y-you’re right... I’m o-overreacting... S-sorry for b-bothering you...”
She looked down. The other girl was right that it could be a joke... but that didn’t stop it from not being funny.

Yua didn’t think she had been to an orientation in a long time, if not having never been to one before, but she was pretty certain that they weren’t supposed to go like this. Still confused, she took a look at her handbook. How did you use this? While fiddling with it, she pressed her finger on it, and it opened! Hm. So that’s how it worked.
She tried her best to navigate to the rules somehow. As she read them, her worry only increased. Murder? Murder? Oh no. Oh no. This was bad. Yua could feel tears forming at the edge of her eyes. She didn’t want to die, and didn’t want anyone else to.
Why did she think coming here was a good idea?

Yua looked down at her feet at the mention of her talent.
“I st-still don’t really know why they g-gave me that t-title... There are m-much better origami a-artists out there...”
She looked over the book with Box-chan. There were lots of different shapes and animals in there. Yua was sure that she had folded them a few times.
“W-well... I l-like butterflies... and c-cranes... B-but I m-make whatever anyone w-wants me to...”
[ Folding : Yua ]
Hooray, bonding! Box-chan pulls a chair over to the desk where Yua was sitting and plops herself down close. Not too close! Didn’t want to scare her!
The book is large, a little hefty, and reads Advanced Origami Folding.
“I’m…sure you’re far passed ‘advanced’…yeah?”

Yua leans over to get a better look at the book. Box-chan hasn’t even opened it yet, but she was already getting a bit excited. Yay for bonding indeed. Yua shook her head.

Box-chan wanted to talk to her about origami? Well, if there was one thing that Yua knew about, that was origami. She nodded a little more this time.
