Happy fourth of July, my energetic little firecracker! Are you ready to have lots of fun today? Of course you are, silly. We're going to go watch the fireworks down by the golf course! Yes baby, I know you're a bit scared by the loud noise, but I'll be right next to you to keep you safe. We can even bring earplugs, just so you can admire the beautiful colours. Oh, my angel. You're always more beautiful than fireworks.

Oh my little mermaid, wake up~ know it's early, I know.. But we're going to the beach today, remember? There's papa's energetic mermaid! Let's go make lunch and get our swim gear on, okay? Yes of course baby, I'll bring your water wings. We don't want you to get hurt! Oh, you're right, mermaid, we also need our buckets to make sand castles! You're so smart~

Okay little one, here comes the choo-choo train—open wide! Choo Choo!~ Oh? Why isnt the tunnel open? You want dessert? Ah ah ah, my precious pea. No dessert until your veggies are finished. I know, I know.. Veggies are icky.. But they'll make you grow super big and strong like [title]!!! Yes baby, if you eat your veggies you'll get dessert. Okay, okay—aaand I'll buy you a new stuffie. Now open the tunnel for the train!~

You and your cg were playing hide and seek, and you were certain you had the best hiding spot in the house: the kitchen pantry. All of the snacks, in one room, with one hungry bear cub.

"Baby bear, where are you? You've hidden so well!"

Your cg says in a sing-song voice as you hear the soft thuds of their feet crossing the wooden floor. You giggle to yourself, hearing your stomach growl.

"Mm.. maybe just a little snack.."

You thought to yourself, quietly turning the light on to see all of the snacks you had to yourself. You reach for the container of animal crackers, open the lid and begin to snack.

"Beaaar, I don't think I'll ever be able to find you!!"

Your caregiver walks into the kitchen, stopping right in front of the pantry. Unaware, you continue to eat, feeling your tummy get filled with animal cracker goodness.

Suddenly, the pantry door flings open.

"Found you!!- Oh my stars, honey, why didn't you say you were hungry!"

Mouth stuffed with crackers, you mumble "Oophs, m bad.."

"Come here my little cub, let's go make something to eat."

5! 4! 3! 2! 1! Happy new year baby! You made it to the new year, I'm so proud of you!! Thank you my shooting star, I'm proud of me too. What's my New Year's resolution? Well, it's to take care of you more than I already do, darling. Baba loves you most, my little star. Here's to another year together, baby and baba!

After finally collecting your baggage from the claim, you take off around the corner looking for your caregiver. It's been a few months since you've seen eachother, you having had travelled abroad for a month or so. As you turn the corner, many people surround the outside, holding up signs corresponding to their families.

Muttering to yourself, you try to find your caregiver amongst the crowd.

"Not baba,, not them,, not them,, mm,,"

Starting to get overwhelmed, your eyes start to fill with tears.

"Hey silly, look up."

A familiar voice says as you look up, the tears going from stress to happy tears.

"Baba!!! Oh I missed you so super duper much!!"

You jump into their arms, squeezing them tight.

"I missed you more angel." They chuckle as they lift you into the air.

"Let's put your luggage into the car and get you some McDonald's, hm? Whatever you want honeybun."

You nod your head quickly, already starting to slip.

Bedtime

"Dada no!!!! I no s'eepy!"

The baby whimpers and pouts. They were absolutely exhausted, but refused to show it.

"Baby, you gotta grow big and strong for Dada. I'll put on some lullaby's for you and give you Piggie, okay?"

The carer gently scoops up the baby, bringing them upstairs to their nursery. He lays the little down on a makeshift changing table, cleaning them up and putting a new set of pull-ups on.

"Dada no!!!"

"There we go baby, all clean. Now time for bed."

The baby flails their legs and arms and starts whining more, but are cut off by a paci being placed in their mouth, and a soft Piggie in their arms.

As they are placed into their crib, their carer plays some Disney lullabies and sits next to them. He opens "Cinderella", and not long after the soft snoring of the baby fills the room.

"Lunch time little one!"

You hear your CG exclaim from downstairs, but you were too busy. Too busy playing with your stuffies and toys. Again, you hear your CG, but closer this time, telling you it's time for lunch.

"I no hungy bubba!"

That, of course, was a lie. You were starving, but you were having too much fun to go downstairs.

"Angel, dear.." they stand outside your doorway, "Your food's gonna get cold! Let's go, up up!"

"Bubba I tolds youuu, I no hungy." You say, continuing to play.

They chuckle, crouching down next to you.

"What're you playing, sweetheart?"

"I'm playin' castle!! See? Sparkles and Rosie are the knights, cuz girls can be knights too!!! And,, And the dollies are the princesses!!" You gesture to your doll house, smiling.

"Awe darling, you're absolutely adorable," they say as they rustle your hair and kiss your forehead. "But playing takes energy, no? And you need energy to help defend against the evil monsters that come out!"

Your stomach grumbles, making you pout.

"Tummy, I tolds you to stay shushie!!"

"Well your tummy agrees that it's lunch time. Let's go, sweetheart."

"Well in that case.." You grab Sparkles and Rosie. "My knights needa be fed too!! They gotta protect the princesses!!"

Your CG chuckles and picks you up.

"Yes darling, they need to be fed as well."

They take you downstairs, and you enjoy a wonderful lunch together. After, you rush upstairs, continuing to help defend your toy kingdom.
