A woman made a TikTok video after stepping into her boyfriend’s garage to get some air during a panic attack and finding all the doors were padlocked shut from the inside, barricaded with the windows blacked out with cardboard. She was like “Is this a red flag? Is this weird? I can’t trust my instincts because I have C-PTSD.” and all of the men in the comments were ripping her to shreds and saying she’s just insecure. Like, no girl. If I stepped into someone’s garage and they had it locked up like the Hope Diamond , I’d also start spiraling. I don’t care how valuable your motorcycle is or how bad the neighborhood is, the totally blocked off chained up no light room IS creepy.

I wish I was Australian. I would use Degrees Celcius and go to Coles to get Mushies for my Spag Bog. I would celebrate Harmony Day instead of International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination for reasons I do not have the time to get into. the problem with addiction is not that it's pleasurable. it's not "having too much fun" disease. it's not even a requirement for addiction that you have fun at any point in the process at all and to be honest it is incredibly common that no pleasure is gained from substance use. imagining that addiction is about pleasure does two things: 1) demonises feeling good (there is nothing wrong with wanting to be happy/comfortable/etc), and 2) frames addicts as people who Like Having Fun Too Much. it's simply not useful to frame things this way as well as just fundamentally not being true

THEY FOUND THE WHITE WITCH CATERPILLAR! THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

For context: the white witch is one of the contenders for the largest moth in the world (biggest *wingspan*--loses to the atlas in terms of wing surface area, and loses to the regal for weight). It has a huge range, and the adult is fairly common.

But no one had ever seen a caterpillar. At all. There were only guesses as to what it might look like and what it ate. until this year. These are some of the first images ever taken of it!!
