Unraveling and weaving the unknown things that happen at both ends of the line that are not conveyed. The flow of relationships between those who are connected and those who are connected. A desire that does not let go. Looking at the gaze of lines and threads that hold on and pull tightly in the desire to let go.

When you turn the page, a picture is revealed. It is the view of Beomseom Island from Gangjeong Port in Jeju Island. The setting is that even if you just flip through the book, you will see a picture, inspired by an encounter with an authoritarian or arrogant person. It overlaps with a scene from when I briefly participated in the protest against the naval base and went out on a kayak.

<결 Unreachable Connection>

이 책은 2024년 완주문화재단의 ‘예술인 한 달 살기’ 프로그램에 참여하여 전라북도 완주군 용진읍 두억(행복드림) 마을에서 약 50일 잠깐 머물며 함께 살아가는 자연과 인간의 모습을 담은 다큐멘터리 사진 에세이입니다.

책 시작 본문에서 “용진 저수지의 물이 산과 완벽히 하나가 되는 순간을 만난 우리는 서로의 관찰을 시작했고, 면과 선이 합쳐지는 모습을 지켜보고 있다. … 빛은 물의 표면에 반사되어 내 몸을 그대로 관통한다.”

작가 김영준은 마을 안에 위치한 용진 저수지의 시시각각 변화하는 경이로운 순간을 매일 관찰하며 빛이 투과하는 오브제를 이용해 담아내며 동시에 마을 어르신들로 구성된 지게놀이단의 움직임을 포착하며 자연과 인간의 연결되는 ‘결’의 순간을 사진으로 이야기하고, 작가 김진아는 우리가 살아가는 모습은 무엇인가 고민하며 용진 저수지의 물 주름과 산 길 그리고 자연과 살아가는 사람의 이야기를 피부로 느끼며 그 소리를 글과 그림으로 스케치하였다.

책은 총 세 단락으로 구성되어 있다. ‘Part. Red (불) : 소리 기록’은 작가 김진아의 글과 그림이 수록된 부분으로 책의 전체 컨셉인 오방색의 붉은 기운을 담으며 거의 매일 기록한 산이 들려주는 살아가는 이야기를 그대로 옮겨 적었고 그 기간 동안 작곡한 노래 한 곡이 제일 마지막 장에 실려있다. ‘Part. Blue (나무)’는 작가 김영준의 글과 함께 용진 저수지의 시간을 사진으로 담으며 그 모습은 하늘로 던져지는 오브제에서 두억 마을 지게놀이단의 선과 연결된다. 그 선의 결은 ‘Part. Yellow (흙)’로 이어지며 지게놀이단의 인물과 활동 모습을 있는 그대로 기록하며 우리는 시간의 결을 다시 바라본다. 책의 제일 마지막에는 지게놀이단 인터뷰 영상(QR Code)도 실려있다.

This book will be published in 2024 by participating in the Wanju Cultural Foundation’s ‘Living an Artist for a Month’ program. A brief stay of about 50 days in Dueok (Happy Dream) Village, Yongjin-eup, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do This is a documentary photo essay depicting nature and humans living together.

From the beginning of the book “We encountered the moment when the water of Yongjin Reservoir became completely one with the mountain. We started observing each other, I am watching the planes and lines come together. �� “The light reflects off the surface of the water and penetrates my body.”

Artist Kim Young-jun observes the ever-changing wondrous moments of the Yongjin Reservoir located within the village every day and captures them using light-transmitting objects. At the same time, he captures the movements of a lift troupe made up of village elders, creating the 'texture' that connects nature and humans. Telling the story of the moment through photos, writer Kim Jin-ah pondered what it is like to live, felt the wrinkles of water in Yongjin Reservoir, mountain paths, and the stories of people living with nature, and sketched the sounds through writing and drawing.

The book consists of a total of three paragraphs. ‘Part. 'Red (Fire): Sound Record' is a section containing author Kim Jina's writings and drawings, and contains the red energy of the five colors, which is the overall concept of the book. It also contains the stories of life told by the mountains recorded almost every day, as well as a song composed during that period. The song is included on the last page. ‘Part. ‘Blue (tree)’ is a photograph of the time at Yongjin Reservoir along with a text by author Kim Young-jun, and the image is connected to the lines of the Jigeok troupe of Dueok Village in the object thrown into the sky. The texture of the line is ‘Part. Yellow Continuing with ‘(Soil)’, we look again at the texture of time by recording the characters and activities of the Jige Play Troupe as they are. At the end of the book, there is also a video (QR Code) of an interview with the Jiggye Play Team.

4박 5일, 대만을 잠깐 다녀온 두 작가의 기록을 각자의 색깔로 제작된 2편의 세트 대만 여행 사진집과 에세이입니다.

작가 김영준(준사보르)은 흐름에 몸을 맡기며 담아낸 'Flow in Taiwan(흐름, 대만 편)’에서 대만의 색과 정취를 보여주며 작가 김진아(지나오킹)는 ‘Taiwan Tree is So High(트위스트 춤을 추는 나무)’라는 부제목으로 짧은 시간이지만 굉장히 인상적이었던 독특한 대만의 향기를 다양한 종이 질감과 프레임, 글 등으로 표현하였다.

This is a two-part set of Taiwan travel photo books and essays written in our own colors, recording the records of two writers who briefly visited Taiwan for 5 days and 4 nights.

Writer Youngjun Kim (Junsabor) shows the colors and mood of Taiwan in ‘Flow in Taiwan’, which he captures by letting himself go with the flow. Under the subtitle ‘Taiwan Tree is So High (a tree that dances the twist)’, writer Kim Jina (Jina0King) expressed the unique scent of Taiwan, which was very impressive even though it was a short period of time, through various paper textures, frames, and text.

<모네>는 도시의 차가운 바닥에 버려진 마네킹의 모습에 충격과 영감을 받은 두 사람(사진가 '김영준'과 음악가 '지나오킹')이 폐기 직전 구출한 마네킹의 이름이다. 그리고 함께 생활하며 각자의 영역에서 생명을 불어넣는 과정을 기록한 흑백 다큐멘터리 작업이다.

촬영은 2년의 시간이 걸렸고 전체적인 장면은 흑백필름으로 작업했으며 지나오킹의 퍼포먼스 작업에는 디지털카메라를 이용했다.

그리고 모네는 아직까지 우리와 함께 살고 있다.

인간의 모습을 본뜬 마네킹의 굳어버린 표정과 몸짓. 태워지기를 기다리는 이 물질의 신음과 비명이 눈앞에 드러났다 '버린다'라는 행위에 대해 생각해 본다. 아무렇게 버려지는 행위에서 순수한 이기심과 교육에서 드러나는 공동체의 차별과 무관심에 인류 목표에서 떨어진 소외된 또 다른 인간의 형태를 마주한다.

생명이 없는 마네킹에 빛이 나타나는 순간 우리는 깨닫게 된다. 아름다움이란 무엇인가 살아간다는 것은 무엇인가 생명이란 무엇인가에 대해. 이 과정을 통해 나의 양심이 드러나고 지나오킹의 마음이 드러난다. 인간이 가지고 있던 따스했던 감정들을 끄집어 낸다. 수없이 버려지는 물질들 감정들 슬픔들. 순환되지 않고 쌓여가는 가식의 동정들. 버려도 버려지지 않는 태워도 태워지지 않는 것에 대해 이야기해본다.

표지의 점자는 번역하면 영어 알파벳 <M O N E T>입니다. 바라볼 수 있는 것과 없는 것의 모호한 경계점에서 낯선 언어인 '점자'를 손으로 직접 만지며 느끼는 감각의 호기심을 시작으로 책이 누군가로부터 펼쳐지길 바라며 표지 디자인을 만들었습니다.

*제본 및 재단은 직접 수작업으로 만들었습니다. 실 보풀이 조금 묻어나거나 종이가 찍힌 부분이 있을 수도 있습니다.

Gives a name to a mannequin rescued by two people (photographer 'Youngjun Kim' and musician 'Jina0king')who were shocked and inspired by the image of a mannequin abandoned on the cold floor of the city.and it's a black-and-white documentary photo book that records the process of living together and bringing life to each other's territory. The shooting took two years, and the entire scene was worked on black and white films, and Jina0king's performance work used a digital camera. And Monet still lives with us. The mannequin's hardened expression and gesture modeled after the human figure.The moans and screams of this substance waiting to be burned were revealed in front of me. and I think about the act of 'throwing away'.In the act of being abandoned, we face another form of marginalized human beings who fell from human goals due to pure selfishness and community discrimination and indifference revealed in education. As soon as the light appears on the lifeless mannequin, we realize it. What is beauty, what is living, what is life.Through this process, my conscience is revealed and Jina0king's mind is revealed.It brings out the warm feelings that humans had. Matter thrown away countless times Emotions Sadness.Sympathy for pretensions that pile up without circulation.Let's talk about throwing away, not throwing away, burning and not burning.

The braille on the cover meaning is the English alphabet <M O N E T> At the ambiguous boundary between what can be seen and what can't be seen, the unfamiliar language 'braille' starting with the curiosity of the senses felt by touching it with hands, I made a cover design hoping that the book would be opened from someone.
