extreme size difference couples with one partner being too big to fit in a normal double bed and even then sinking into it and their partner slides next to them

I struggle with a “fear of being forgotten.”

It’s manageable, but it definitely can be suffocating at times. It’s tied in to my Dad’s condition, my own mental illnesses, and just being a people pleasure.

So to feel “forgotten” is just crushing. It makes me feel so small, so overlooked, so unnoticed.

But even with those negative feelings of “feeling small” I think that’s also why I love G/t so much. It also explains why I gravitate towards the comforting and the romance and love aspects of G/t as well.

Just imagine what that might feel like.

Imagine a loved one so much bigger and capable and stronger than you–either in actuality or just by how you perceive them–and the fact that they notice you. But it wouldn’t stop there. They wouldn’t just notice you, they would love you, care for you, make sure you’re not forgotten, make sure you’re kept safe.

For all they can do and all that they are, they want you.

I know for some that’s trite and not their cup of tea. Some might bring up that it’s difficult or practical, but in my brain that’s not the point (for me, at least). 

The point is that grounding, reassurance that someone actually cares about me. Love can sometimes be the most illogical, improbable thing–and yet it’s still here.

Anywho, those are just some of my thoughts. <3 I’ve been gone from Tumblr for awhile due to some mental health reasons. I can’t promise I’ll come back full-swing, but it is nice to just kinda throw these thoughts out into the cosmos and hope it finds meaning for someone.

I don't think i'm ever gonna stop being enamoured by mini-giants interacting with regular sized stuff, it's so, SO good. Still small enough that they can hold and use things, and even potentially fit in some buildings, but big enough that everything looks like a miniature compared.....yes.....

Just like. Mini-giants sitting crouched up in rooms, filling the space; maybe even sitting on a sofa and it just sinks under their weight. Someone passing a mini-giant something like a bag or phone to look after for a moment because they need their hands free, and it's just engulfed by a singular hand. And, of course, we can't forget mini-giants interacting with people. Handshakes or holding hands leading to most the lower arm being engulfed in their grip, being big enough that a hug just makes the other person vanish against their chest, people being able to wander in-between their legs when they walk together; picking people up, hands round their body just under their arms, having fingers meet around their body. It's just......good scale. Very good scale.

(Also still big and strong enough to pick up or flip a vehicle which is very important and should not be forgotten! Because it is cool!)

You so easily fluster me. How can one as big as you care for one as small as I? I feel inconsequential. But here in your hand, I feel like the most treasured person who’s ever lived.

Aaah it is cold enough for some sweet ass winter minigiant thoughts....

Just being big enough to hunker down around someone out in the snow, shield them from the elements with your body; wrapping strong arms round them, pulling them in close, taking the brunt of the chill because it'll simply roll off your back.

Doing the 'giving someone your jacket' thing as an act of chivalry for the person you're sweet on, but instead of taking it off you just....unzip it, cuddle them up close to your chest, and then zip it back up! Their legs stick out the bottom and their head the top, and you can plant as many kisses on their forehead as you want....

Going on walks, trudging through snow that's barely ankle deep; only to turn round and find your walking companion thoroughly bogged down. Okay. It's piggie-back ride time. Or up on the shoulder's ride time! Both work!

Wearing a long ass coat like a trench coat or something, and when somebody standing next to you is cold you're big enough to pull them close and hide them under the flowing end of it, like a big cloak....

Cupping someone's tiny hands in your own gloved pair and crouching down to gently blow warm air over them, offering some heat to melt the cold away from their shivering fingers.....they blush and tell you their face is cold too....so you smile and plant a massive kiss to their bashful, flustered face. Mwah. Warm now aint'cha with all that blushing...

Also. Just giving someone your scarf and it's big enough to wrap all the way around them is a very cute visual.
