caregiver who keeps reminding their baby to be on their best behavior because christmas is a month away, the little angel just don’t know that their carer is planning on spoiling them either way cause how could they not . . . ?

wearing matching reindeer pajamas as they bake cookies and add the finishing touches to their christmas tree . . . !

kiddo reminding their dad / mom to leave out the cookies and milk for santa, tiny one who’s so hyper and excited that they slip deeper into their headspace out pure excitement / happiness as the time tick closer to midnight :(

baby who fell asleep early in the night because their dada / mama rocked them to sleep and couldn’t resist dozing off while in their carer’s arms, spending their first christmas eve together . . . — ♡

carer who allows their baby to open an early present on christmas eve !

“santa made an early visit, my love! he mentioned that you've been such a good kid this year . . . what this? well, it's a gift from santa's little elves to show how proud they are of you, baby!”

and and the tiny one writing a thank you letter to send out with stickers and scribbles of their thanks :( !!

“can you tell mama which color this is, sweetie?”. . . asking them what their favorite color is, knowing the answer changes daily — giving my tiny one a golden star when they finish the worksheet + hanging their work up on the fridge / in their bedroom !

“aww, my baby's a little artist, hm?” cooing as my little angel gets shy, hiding behind their hands. “oh? is it peek-a-boo time? where's mama's silly baby at? aah! there you are, mommy missed you oh so much ! — ♡

“careful, honey! here, let baba hold the cup while you take a seat by the fireplace. there you go, all cozy and warm, hm? is the hot cocoa good? baba used a super special ingredient. oh no, i can't tell — otherwise, it wouldn't be a secret anymore!” — ☆

(the super secret ingredient was just extra chocolate / sugar but tiny one didn’t need to know that extra bit of information !)

“baby, we can't go outside just yet; it's too cold. let's get you bundled up in something warmer, hmm? do you want to build a snowman and make pretty snow angels with dada? wait, wait, your shoes are on the wrong feet! oh no, let papa help, honeybun. oh, we can't forget your gloves and earmuffs . . . my tiny one has to stay warm and cozy! there, all dressed and ready for the snow!” — ☆

holding my kiddo’s hand, reminding them to look both ways before crossing the street, making sure they’re dressed for the weather . . .

"do you know what sound an airplane makes, baby?", "can you tell dada what color this fruit is?", helping them wash their hands when finished eating, my sweet angel slipped into a younger headspace and accidentally made a mess while eating.

Going last minute christmas shopping, pushing them in the cart — lingering around the toy and baby isles never fails to put them in a small headspace, happy giggles when i but the toy they really wanted :( !

propping my baby up on my lap, gently bouncing and rocking my little one as i listen to their little babbles about their favorite tiny show, “mama doesn’t know that character, lovebug… can you tell ma about them?”

“ can you breathe with mama / dada, baby? deep, deep breath in. now, a long breath out. good job, honey ! can you feel mommy’s / daddy's heartbeat, yeah? such a sweet girl / boy, doing so well listening to mama’s / dada's voice. i know how overwhelmed you feel right now, bubs, but just keep breathing with me, 'kay, little love? momma / papa is going to help, all those mean and big thoughts aren't for my tiny one, hm? let’s count how many fingers mama / dada is holding up. good girl / boy — my baby is so smart ! mommy / daddy loves you so much, baby. you’re mama's / dada's happiness and if i could i would take all of those big feelings and thoughts away in a heartbeat . . . ” — ♡

my baby being so tiny and nonverbal, resting on me after a long day of being big or masking their regression, listening to their soft breathing as i gently rub / pat the tiny one's back— lulling them to sleep with sweet murmurs and coos, brushing their hair out of their face so i could kiss their forehead . . . “mama's here, she'll protect her little angel from any nightmares, sweet dreams, mama’s sweet dove.” — ♡

“dada's sweet angel, so cute, the sweetest, most precious looking prince ( ss ) . . .” placing cute little clips and bows in my baby hair, telling my sweet girl / boy how pretty / handsome they look :( !!

helping my baby get ready for bed, running them a bubble bath and placing / arranging all their bath toys in the tub for them . . . blowing bubbles at my baby girl / boy, covering them with bubbles, giggling at how adorable my angel looks :( !

“can you tell mommy the name of this animal, sweetie?” playing with one of the toys, placing a toy crab on the miniature slide — my kiddo being entertained / distracted by all the toys and fun they’re having in the water that when bath time is almost over with they’re upset . . .

allowing my tiny one stay in the bath just a little bit longer cause how could i say no to my baby? drawing little animals and stick figures on the walls, using the bathtub finger paints to write my tiny’s name along with a heart because “you’re mommy’s heart, mama’s heart is just full of love for only her baby.” —♡

“would my prince ( ss ) like a bedtime story, mhm? okay, my love, go and pick out a story while mama picks out your pajamas. hurry, baby! don't want your stuffies to miss you too much . . . !” — ♡

sitting on a play mat with a tiny one, showing them different types of sensory toys — “can you tell dada what letter this is, honey?”, teaching my baby with different interactive toys to keep their attention / interest . . .

tummy time with a smaller regressor, having their favorite soft toys and books within reach, rubbing the tiny one’s back as i show them different toy animals, cooing at their adorable babbles as they try to mimic dada’s voice . . . !

monitoring my older / middle kid regressor while they’re on their game / tablet, letting them teach me how to play a certain game ,, cheering them up after i remind my kiddo that it’s almost bedtime with a bedtime story / nightly cuddles . . . — ☆

“ you’re dada’s / mama’s precious boy / girl, mhm . . . what would i ever do without my little prince ( ss )? ”

“ such a polite baby, asking daddy / mommy for help! ”

“ mwah, mwah, mwah! baba kisses make their baby’s boo-boo all better, what type of bandaid would you like, bub? ” . . . — ☆
