eliot spencer needs a dog.
like, obviously. everything about that man screams “my daddy made me build a doghouse from scratch to prove i was responsible enough for a puppy not knowing my mama already went to the shelter and i built the best goddamn dog house a ten year old could”.
and you would think, he would get something big and powerful and intimidating, like a wolfdog or anatolian shepherd. maybe something he rescues from a fighting ring or evil mark.
but NO. that man is going to be handed the crustiest meanest tiniest little shitty white poodle thing and he’s going to be a huge grump about it and act like the Dad Who Doesn’t Want A Dog and then flash forward ten minutes and it’s in his jacket pocket eating salmon scraps as eliot cooks the team dinner and he’s named it something like Beowulf and it keeps trying to bite Harry and Parker is like 90% sure it’s an albino rat and eliot has never been happier. (but you couldn’t waterboard that out of him.)

I want a madneybuddie double date just because going into it Buck and Chimney would think they’re the two people who would do most of the talking but then Eddie and Maddie would split a bottle of wine together and suddenly their husbands won’t be able to get a word in edgeways

Shoutout to my dad who accidentally moved into an up and coming black lgbt neighborhood and was very disappointed to learn that all of his “new friends” weren’t actually interested in how to use iNaturalist or where he saw coyotes on his walks 😔🙏🏻

i've been in fandom spaces for about 18 years or so at this point and i never thought we'd hit a point where this has to be said

People are always saying Eddie and Maddie need to interact for buddie reasons (and I agree), but I feel like a conversation between them about their experiences with parenthood would be fascinating considering they’ve both run from it, afraid they’d fail.
