Okay so after reblogging those 2 gifs of Esther storming down the hospital corridor to smother Daniel, I remembered that it was from a movie called Orphan, which I watched with my parents once. (It was pretty thrilling.) I also remember talking about it later with my parents. What I really loved was 1. How pretty Esther was (Isabelle Fuhrman is amazing) 2. How on point that Russian accent sounded (see above) and 3. How much I loved Esther. I loved how manipulative she was, how she knew exactly what she had to do to get what she wanted (she didn’t do the best at that though). I even sympathized with her even though she was a psychopath who did really, really horrible things. Truthfully, it wasn’t her fault, she was abused as a result of her hypopituitarism. I was rooting for her the whole way through the movie, and how her only goal was to find someone “normal” who would love her. (Going after dads wasn’t the best way to do it though, Esther.) I hated that she was killed at the end, I would have preferred the ending where Esther survives. Orphan 2, anyone?

Anyway, what I meant to say is, I have a real affinity with psychopathic 33-year-old women with hypopituitarism.
