Mostly little cures and remedies that can be made at home. I will try to give photographic step-by-step instructions, but some of those will have to wait until I manage to injure myself again. To find a specific remedy, search your ailment in the tags, if you can't find it then please ask me. Questions and submissions are more than welcome.

For infected cuts:
Honey: Honey has been my go-to for infections since finding out it worked, and so far it's proven more effective than anything in my medicine cabinet. Any normal table honey will do.
How to apply: Wash cut and try to remove any debris as usual. Moisten cut slightly with clean water, try to keep the surrounding area dry to prevent honey from running. Apply a small amount of honey, just enough to coat wound entirely, and cover with a band-aid. Usually leaving it over night will do the trick, but if the infection is more severe then clean out wound again and repeat the process until it is healed.
Why it works: Honey is a natural antibiotic, preservative, and immune system booster. Also, when combined with a small amount of water honey will produce H2O2 (hydrogen peroxide), which is used medically in cleaning infected wounds. So basically, honey will kill off the bacteria in the infection, while coating the wound to prevent any new bacteria from entering, and aiding your immune system to help combat the infection from the inside out. It also has the effects of hydrogen peroxide, but at a much gentler level, meaning that it will not burn and sting in the process of healing. On top of all this, by maintaining a moist coating on the wound honey will prevent scabbing and scaring.
