one of the most frustrating things about being a trans guy (for me) is that a lot of people suddenly think im more likely to be a misogynist just because im no longer a woman. it makes no sense to me. and i understand that there are some trans guys who act like that, like Kalvin Garrah, but anyone who actually knows me knows that i try very hard to be a kind person every day. i've heard my boyfriend express this fear too, despite the fact that he is one of the sweetest people i know who will help any of his and my friends at the drop of a hat.

everyone has misogynistic behaviors to unlearn, but can we stop acting like trans men are one day away from becoming awful misogynists? can we give them some grace?
