What if the nursery Goblins are actually assigned to a specific Changeling when it’s first brought to the Darklands. The Goblin watches over the tiny whelp while it’s put through the changing process and (loosely) cares for it throughout whelphood.
When the young Changeling is sent topside, the Goblin is reassigned to that specific Changeling’s Familiar. They have a connection already, after all.
Fast forward a few thousand years: the Eternal Night has failed and the Darklands have fallen, and some of the Goblins managed to escape. Strickler is in the middle of teaching History 101 at the local Community College when this little green Goblin suddenly bursts into the lecture hall and pounces on him, peppering him with kisses as it coos in Goblinese, “My itty, bitty fly baby! Mama’s back!”
Welp. Here it is. My recent absence of the last few months in 3 minutes 14 seconds.
So I found a video of Kelsey Grammar singing Stars in the Sky from the Grinning Man and because he’s Blinky’s voice and because the context of the song fits so well with the canon of the show, following a bloody war and moving on. This takes place after the battle of Killahead, after Dictatious’ death and Blinky only has his books left, and the trolls have boarded the Mayflower in the hopes of finding a home in the new world. I thought it would be fun to do a little Disney-styled singing character because I’ve really been wanting to improve my storyboarding recently and needed just a fun weightless exercise to experiment with.
Sketchdump of my children while watching Hellboy. And I think an AU happened? It’s basically just the show with more monster hunting.
So, pretty much Claire= Liz with shadow powers instead of fire and Jim= Hellboy but without the Right Hand of Doom and instead the Amulet of Daylight is in his dang ole left tit.
