Happy book birthday to THE FLIGHT OF SWANS! This book is such a vivid and imaginative retelling of the Grimm’s “Six Swans” and Sarah McGuire does so well in portraying the struggles, conflict and strength of the heroine, Princess Andaryn, through her six year vow of silence and her quest to save her brothers.

A little bunny to test out some Holbein acyla paints.  I’m decidedly 😑on these paints though.  They’re too plasticy for me.  Oh well!  Stickin’ with my winsor and newton.
