It was only after much deliberation that he came to the conclusion of no. He may not remember being born, but he certainly (hopefully) was.

So it’s as Rachel’s talking that he decides that rule has to apply. He doesn’t ever remember singing A Thousand Miles with her, let alone them kissing afterwards — but so long as she’s not gone crazy, he’s got to assume it actually happened. Plus, he can see the hurt in her eyes, and the frustration on her face, and he doesn’t really get why she’d get herself worked up over some fantasy.

My top glee OTP without a doubt is finchel but sadly that's not possible anymore but it doesn't mean that Rachel has to be alone forever, yes Finn was "her person" but there comes a time after you lose someone very important to you that you have to move forward( not move on just move forward and accept) lets face it Finn would have wanted her to be happy and I think Sam can do that, they've been friends for a while and Sam was close with Finn as well so he defiantly has an understanding of what she's going through and vice versa so I support "samchel" and I actually think they're pretty cute together. Sure Rachel could be with someone completely new but considering there is only a finite # of episodes it wouldn't really make sense and to be honest any other guy she would be with would have a hard time understanding how she still feels about Finn and could possibly be jealous, Sam I don't think would because he knew Finn and he knows how much he meant to Rachel. Just my thoughts
