Social Media: The Cons

It's obvious that this module was meant to inform us of the ways that social media is utilized in society. With that said, I noticed that a few different negative aspects were brought up in the discussion board responses. I read about continuing issues like police brutality, harassment, silence during the #MeToo movement, etc. Social media has many benefits, but the cons must be considered as well. I think that this week was challenging because we talked about heavier topics, but that's how we grow and learn!

This quote shows us that where we get information might say more than the information itself. Social media use is s a message about ourselves.
