I feel like politicians' insults about each other have really gone down hill. These days it's all "moron" and "loser", so childish. Think what you will of Paul Keating, but he gave us such gems as "he's a shiver waiting for a spine", "debating him is like being flogged with warm lettuce", "he's like a lizard on a rock: alive but looking dead", "he's all tip and no iceberg".

Where's the creativity these days?!

being depressed and resentful is so embarrassing I feel like a cartoon villain

Been awhile since I just rambled but I wanted to get thoughts down in no particular order 😌 Honestly Loona's whole hesitant, compassionate demeanor is exactly what I wanted to see after everything's that happened! In the last few months she's:

Witnessed her dad crashing out badly over a 'break-up'

Watched her dad try to give up his life for her

Saw how Blitz when he was struggling with a similar situation on a mission (and was the one to reassure him)

Got a front row seat to Stolas being disowned by Via and all the emotional fallout of that

Of course she's feeling sensitive about fathers and their kids and it's interesting to see how that sensitivity is going to manifest! The ending was a surprise for me! I thought it'd subvert by revealing a flaw about the guy, but in the end his reaction was both very reasonable for a human and very tragic for both of him and Loona 😭 It's so sad that her feeling ok opening up a bit and being a bit vulnerable backfired so badly on her (I did laugh tho, that was a wild comedy of errors 😂) I can't wait to see how this arc plays out for her and what kind of setbacks this little one-off experience might create!

I'm so proud of Loona here for being so vulnerable and trusting, especially given how many times we see her put up her walls or get aggressive towards others so as to not let them in. <3<3<3 She also is just so adorable when she goes "Ta-da!" ^_^<3<3<3

i like the phrases "it's not for me," "it's not my thing," and "i'm not the target audience" because they're the most concise way to express "this thing that you enjoy has merits but idgaf about it" without being aggressive
