Ok so projecting onto my little guys so like tw for child abuse/verbal(and implied physical) abuse/transphobia/possible abilism below the cut

Oh look a Splinter is a kangaroo rat, so he's small and has a tuft of fur on his tail. This is the first time I think I've posted anything about him?

Donnie projection:

Donnie is the oldest, and so he's always told to act that way. He's the oldest, he's the leader, and he needs to set an example for his brothers.

Mikey projection:

Mikey stims a lot, may it be tapping his fingers on something, twitching slightly, or flapping his hands. Splinter doesn't like it, he thinks it's stupid and annoying.

Raph projection:

Splinter always thinks that Raph causes a majority of problems in the house and so he yells at the poor guy a lot. The yelling used to make Raph cry but Splinter conditioned him to not do that by threatening to give him a reason to cry(with physical punishment, like a belt or something).

Leo projection:

Splinter is transphobic, oh how surprising(sarcasm). Leo is trans though, going by he/she/they pronouns(he/him the most as said in another post). Leo has a female body, but because Splinter couldn't tell the genders of turtles, he just said they were all boys. Donnie tried to point it out one day when they were little but Splinter didn't listen, though Leo's fine with being referred to with he/him pronouns. Oh the fear he'll go though in the future.

idk if you know this, but i have a slight obsession with future apocalypses in the diffrent tmnt iterations. like 2003's sainw, 2012's mutagen bomb and rise's krang invasion. i know tmnt pending is still a wip but do you plan on the sillies having something like that? like an bad alternatte dimension or whatever? very intrested 2 know! but if you don't have any idea for that, then what's your favourite tmnt apocalypse?

Oo I did think of doing a future thing for my fellas! (I ended up looking up how long their separate species live because of it too lol) and I would love to do some more art of future them(I have no ideas at the moment but I might take inspo from Rise and 2012) :D

My favorite bad future TMNT things is Rise and 2012 as they're the only TMNT series I've watched through completely (Cass's apocalyptic stuff is amazing, too, I love their work \o/)

I need to watch/read more TMNT things so I can have more ideas \o/

I was bored so I made some "refs" I guess?

Donatello. 17 yo. Common musk turtle. He/they +neos

Oldest yet shortest of his siblings.

Weapon: Bō staff

He is very skilled with different sciences, they specialize in computers, chemistry, and biology.

Anxious and doesn't get social cues most of the time. Very protective of siblings.

Leonardo. 15 yo. Eastern box turtle. He/she/they (mainly goes by he/him. She/her and they/them depends sometimes)

Oldest of the twins and second tallest.

Weapons: Dual katana

The fastest runner of the four and the most playful. Her favorite game is hide and seek(they always win). Charismatic to hide worry. Selfless to a fault.

Michelangelo. 15 yo. False map turtle. They/he

Younger twin and second tallest.

Weapon: Kusarigama

The fastest swimmer and a tricky trickster who loves Halloween and dressing up. Clueless sometimes but not stupid. Tries to help out when he can.

Raphael. 13 yo. Mata-mata turtle. He/him

Youngest of the four but the tallest.

Weapons: dual sai

A super sweet trying-to-be-gentle giant. Hits his head on doorways. Tail is stepped on a lot(doesn't care). Loves fall and fall colors(wins hide and seek during fall).

I still do not have a full body ref of Splinter because I think he's hard to draw.

I'm just putting this here. These are the turtles for this iteration that I still need to name.

Donnie is the oldest at 17. He's a common musk turtle. He may be the shortest out of the four of them but he uses that to his advantage, ending up being pretty easy to hide thanks to his pretty dull colors. He's still a little nerd and still messes with and makes tech. Weapon: Bō Staff.

Leo is one of the twins, he's the older twin, at 15. He's an eastern box turtle. He's the second tallest but he's the only one who can close his shell like a box when he retracts, which is why box turtles are called box turtles, and he loves to use this to his advantage by being able to fit the best in small spaces and easily get out of small spaces. He's the fastest on land. Weapon: dual katana

Mikey is one of the twins, the younger one, also at 15. He's a false map turtle. He's the second shortest and most expressive thanks to the markings on his forehead that look like eyebrows. He's the fastest under water just with swimming and attacking as he wanted to do things his twin isn't able to do. Weapon: kusarigama

Raph is the youngest at 13. He's a Mata-mata turtle, which makes him pretty big. He's the tallest and spikiest of the four which he uses to the best of his abilities to body any enemies, sweeping them to the ground with his massive tail when his back is turned to them. Despite his size and way of fighting, he's a big sweetheart and is pretty quiet. Though he can talk a lot and very loudly, he chooses to listen more often to allow everyone to be heard. Weapon: dual sai

Splinter is their father and sensei, though being a father comes first in his eyes. He, like other iterations, is a rat but he's not in the picture above and I don't have a colored image of him yet so until then just think of what he looks like. /silly
