Montreux is squished between the foot of the Alps and Lake Geneva, and because it's right on a big ol' lake, its climate is more oceanic than continental in nature, with a narrow annual range of temperatures that results in mild, drier summers and cold-but-not-extreme winters that tend to be overcast. It can snow from September through May, but rain tends to prevail over snow overall, especially in the transitional seasons. I made this preset to use in Hidden Springs, because I'm pretty sure it was inspired by the Swiss Riviera.

Details for this preset:

Highest summer temperature: 75F/24C Lowest winter temperature: 30F/-1C

Overall Climate: Pleasant summers with a decent amount of sunshine. Cold and much less sunny in the winter, during which the temperatures don't stray far from the freezing point, and it lightly snows or rains fairly often. The transitional seasons are still generally chilly, with a chance of snow when the temperatures are low enough. Average amounts of precipitation, which is fairly evenly distributed throughout the year.

Snow: Possible in autumn, winter, and spring whenever the temperature is 40F/4C or below. The average temperatures in autumn and spring are warm enough that snow likely won't last long if it accumulates, but in winter it can snow enough to accumulate, and the temperatures may stay low enough for any accumulated snow to persist for a while.

Fog: There's often fog/haze over the lake in Montreux, but I can't really simulate that in the game. But, since Montreux has generally overcast winters, I have set fog to have a good chance of happening at all temperature ranges in winter, and it can last for a good length of time, to help simulate such conditions. In spring and autumn, it's only possible when the temperature is lower than 50F/10C, and it's set for shorter durations as well. It's disabled entirely in summer.

Hail: None.

Precipitation Intensity: Throughout most of the year, rain and snow are both set to be light to moderate in intensity, and there is an equal chance of either rain or snow where their required temperature ranges overlap. Outside of summer, storms have a wide range of possible durations, up to six hours. In summer, storms are shorter but there may be an occasional heavy storm.

Additional settings:

Fireplaces that are upgraded to auto-light will do so on active lots if the temperature falls below 50F/10C.

Any fallen leaves will be removed at the start of winter.

Insect spawners will not spawn in winter.

4to3 Restoration Workshop Shelves

Two shelves converted from TS4's Restoration Workshop Kit. Comes in short and tall versions, both fully CAStable. Each have two presets, a clean version and a rusty one (the rusty parts are a whole channel so it can be changed with any pattern). Channels and slots are illustrated below:

The short shelf costs §100 and the tall shelf costs §170, both found in Surfaces > End tables, Displays, MIsc.

Store Alpine Jacket for children

For this top I debated whether I should let it be wider at the hips or not, and ultimately settled for 'yes'. It flares out a bit to avoid too much clipping with skirts, but hopefully doesn't look too weird.

For children, unisex. Everyday, Formal, Outerwear. Not enabled for random.

EYESHADOW RE-RELEASE

Hi! So I remembered my Mediafire-Account's login stuff and surprisingly, all files have been kept over the years. My file-upload stuff is gone for good since the owner of the website is either deceased or too lazy to answer to my E-Mails, I really want to call him names but I might get banned on here for doing so, not sure how much profanity is allowed on Tumblr nowadays. But f that, they're a bunch of fucking idiots and I wish them nothing but migraines and the liquid shits🤗

Here is a compilation of my old eyeshadows, all in one .zip folder, ad.fly/linkvertise free, mostly cleaned up, slightly edited, renamed since the TSRW names differed from the item names, CAS thumbnails and for all genders.
