Some flowers blooming in the yard today. The chipmunk living under the deck had babies this year too. I've left some food for them since they've started coming out and wandering in the yard. They're pretty cute, but I couldn't get any pictures since they are easily scared and I didn't want to bother them too much.
Blueberries, raspberries and blackberries are blooming, which makes me very happy, but I'm currently in a fight with my vegetable garden. I changed my set up last year and it might have been a mistake. The zuchinis and beans are yellowing like crazy, hopefully they will come back before the end of June.
I've also tried my hand at growing mushrooms, but so far nothing seems to be happening.

Spiders creep me out, but my friend loves them. Still, everytime I see a spider, I take a picture to show my friend, because it brings them joy.

🌱Garden update🌻

My beans and zuchinis are doing awesome, but the seeds I got for free at the supermarket are having a hard time... There's no sight of my spaghetti squash, the spinach is looking rough and my brocoli is getting destroyed by red ants. Carrots are doing ok overall.

We got some lupins blooming and some field strawberries appearing too. It's pretty rainy these days, and not very warm, but summer truly is here.

Most of last week has been insane, with the new job and everything.
Haven't had much time to take care of my garden or take pictures of frogs.
Here's a little moth (i think) i found this morning while preparing my coffee. As well as a froggy friend.

The smaller ones are spooked really easy
I was far away from her but she still jumped off the plant and swam toward the edges
I took my picture quickly and left her alone

The frogs are hiding this week, I think the low temperature is bumming them out (same tbh). This one is a biggie, she's calmer than the small ones so I was able to get pretty close. Their eyes are so pretty, they look straight out of jurassic park.
Also, we have the same chipmunk (?) hanging near the pond every year and he's pretty chill. He's become so used to us being there that most days he just sits on the rocks and watch us work in the garden.
Language anecdote for anyone interested : they're called tamia in french, but where I live everyone I know calls them suisse (swiss). I have no idea why.
