*I'm thinking of rebranding my posts to look at little more aesthetic, so maybe expect that . Anyway here's an autistic head canon dump on how skeletons get piercings .

*Skeletons do find a lot of fashion accessories very pretty , although they have to get creative due to the lack of ears or skin to pierce . Earrings ( or any piercings for that matter) are often taped on with either cheap clear tape or a special kind for skinless monster's fashion , but sometimes a more dedicated skeleton will end up filing/drilling a small hole where they most like , or imagine they would have their earlobes placed roughly . Some will drill small holes anywhere else they want a jewel or accessory to hang , just like a human would!

*Doing this unique type of piercing comes with similar troubles that a human piercing would , occasionally one's bone will heal over the attempt at a wound , get infected , or just plain reject any jewelry . It hurts more for skeletons , but not by much , as most of the discomfort comes from the grinding of the file echoing in their skull ( understandable , it's much like grinding of teeth behind your eye sockets .)

*They've also developed special jewelry with clasps that can be pressed from outside of the skull and anchor inside , the same process being used to extract it , though some do plainly reach into their own skull and use a typical earring depending on the individual and the piercing .

↓pictured below is the most common spots for holes to be drilled ( in purple) on a consenting unnamed skeleton model :)

*fun fact , my design of lust inspired this head canon ! She usually has hoop earrings , and will sometimes plug the tiny hole when she doesn't have them in ! Some skeletons also find cracks in the bone or purposefully filed chips out of the nose hole or eye socket desirable , just like humans with their body modifications !
