The King - Ambience Edit

Kingdom of Heaven's soundtrack is as much a work of art as the film imo. But I've always thought Baldwin's theme should have been more prominent during his appearances, especially the "darker" tones of it that lend a greater air of both mystery and authority to his presence. I have a habit of editing tracks to suit my tastes for inspirational purposes, especially when I feel it more appropriate for certain scenes than the original, and "The King" was not immune to this amateur tampering, lol. Then I got the idea to cut it down to one of my favorite parts, slap it onto a quick edit of one of my favorite scenes, and voila! I ended up with a thirty-second "ambience" of sorts.

I'm finding it particularly useful for setting the mood for my fanfic work, especially certain discussion scenes early on. Perhaps my fellow Baldwin fans will find a similar use for it. 😁

I think that quiet evenings with Baldwin are the most peaceful for bookworms of that era. Knowledge, civility and wit - three words that can describe him.

No need to hurry, no need to prove.

Just sit and have a glass of tea (or wine).
