Oh, I already tried to pick up extra shifts, and my boss reminded me that the school limits the number of hours we're allowed to work each week, so that didn't work. Anyway yeah, I have hobbies, and I'll probably end up spending most of the weekend playing guitar and/watching movies, but complaining on the internet remains on the agenda.

Is there any hobbies you could be occupying yourself with? If complaining on the internet is the hobby, I suggest you find one a tad more fulfilling. Or maybe see if you can pick up extra shifts, if possible?

You brought an espresso maker with you?  Honestly, I’m just impressed with your dedication.  

If this camping trip has taught me anything, it’s that portable espresso machines are not worth the retail space on Amazon. Seriously, don’t get one, it’s easier to give up coffee. However, it’s also taught me to appreciate life at its fullest, and now we’re all cleansed from the fresh air, I think that once we’re all safely back at the institute, or even once on the bus, it’s time to get dirty again. Scenes, sex, whatever. If you’re down, I’m down.

Wow.  I can’t imagine living like that.  I mean, I guess your father probably knew what he was getting into when he claimed with her, but still, that just sounds like a rough way to live.  Having to cater to her convenience over his own needs.  Not even just his needs, since clearly it’s affecting you, too.  ...I definitely see why you’re pissed at your mom.  She sounds really selfish.

Oh, don’t worry, they’re giving us air mattresses.  You might have to share with someone but you won’t have to sleep on the ground.  I’ve slept on air mattresses plenty, they’re actually remarkably comfortable.

I really don’t know how to feel about this camping trip. Woods aren’t exactly my go to when wanting to go somewhere on a trip.The thought of having to sleep on the hard ground? Would it be bad if I just brought an air mattress?

Two days. Apparently, it takes my mother two days to allow my father to return my Father’s Day message. And by allow, I mean she called me to remind me how I should be claimed by now and then threw in ‘by the way, your father says thank you.’ I didn’t know it was possible for a person to drive me so crazy from so far away.

You think so?  Thanks, dude, that’s really nice of you.  I’m right there with you, the animation is so dope.  I love that the bending is all based on martial arts.  It makes it feel so much less like magic and more physical and real.
