Tod Brody is Scott Sheppard

If you are dealing with a suspicious photographer by the name of Scott Sheppard you are in fact dealing with con man Tod Scott Brody. 

He may be operating through dummy companies. The names we are aware of are: Dream Wedding Photography (Dream Wedding Foto), Summer Night Entertainment, and Copencisco.

Tod Brody is most likely using an alias.

We've received information that Tod Scott Brody may be telling potential victims that his name is Scott Sheppard. He may be using a variation on the spelling.

In the famed Vampire Weekend Contra Cover controversy Tod Brody is now the entire focus of the case. He filed an 11 page response in court denying the charges.

He accuses Kennis (the model) of fraud but doesn't specify what or how, uses strung together and near nonsense legalese, and claims he is not at fault because of implied release but doesn't provide proof or detail.

Sadly, the staff here know that to many of you this sounds all too familiar. Several of you have witnessed or been the recipient of a ludicrous rant from Tod Brody similar to this.

We hope that this Contra Album cover case will finally shine light on who Tod Brody really is and hopefully prevent him from ever harming another person.

Evidence or Not, This Blog is Doing its Job.

The reason this blog was created was because the authors of this blog, when dealing with Tod Scott Brody directly, did not immediately find anything on the internet directly related to Tod being a shady character. Because there was no evidence to support the doubts of the authors, the authors of this blog continued to work with Tod Scott Brody and ultimately suffered for it. If there had been a resource available to confirm their doubts they would have ceased working with Tod Brody immediately and possibly would have faced less consequences of their short lived partnership with him.

This blog was created with one intention, to be the missing resource for anyone who feels they have been or will be wronged by Tod Scott Brody.

Tod hired me to design his business cards. After he approved the design cost and the printing fees, we went to press on the cards. He skipped out on his bill of 1000 card saying he didnt like them. they were exactly what he asked for. Then he never paid me for the design costs. He sent me an email saying he sent my check and it bounced back. He attached the attached picture of a "return to sender" piece of mail. My local post office said it doenst even have a stamp like that. he clearly forged it. See the last email i got from him below. Apparently he just narrowly escaped an amputation. this guys is full of excuses. Please post this story to your blog if you'd like.

Vampire Weekend Contraversy

In defense of Vampire Weekend I'm sure that Tod Brody (alone) was responsible for this fraud. He is a very skilled manipulator and cares very little about the extent of the lies he tells in order to get a cash fix. More than likely he forged Kirsten Kennis' signature once there was interest in the photograph. There isn't much the band and label could have done to discover the forgery.

Tod Warning

This man is most definitely a con man and a fraud. Tod employed me as a production assistant in NY in 2004. I was promised payment of $500.00/week. Tod made excuses about why he could not pay me for several weeks and I finally got wise and quit after 6 weeks with no payment. I later found out he never paid a research assistant he had hired at the rate of $1000.00. He also never paid his line producer who was helping him with several independent film budgets at the same time I was working for him.

I took him to small claims court. He never showed up and I received a judgment for back wages. I then got a notice that Tod had filed bankruptcy for the 2nd time and that was the end of that.

I cannot believe this man is not in jail by now. Please avoid him at all costs.
