Since I know you like this pairing, Blind Date and Arranged Marriage AU for TodoDeku, please.

Rules: Send me two (2) tropes from this list + a ship and I’ll describe how I’d combine them in the same story. 

Oh heck yes!

Took me a bit to think about how to combine those two, they can easily be direct opposites to each other after all, but here’s the idea:

No Quirks AU, they’re normal high school students except they’re from a bunch of different schools (Shouto is going to some rich kid school).

Shouto is the set to inherit his father’s company despite being the youngest in the family.

Enji wants to find Shouto a wife early, mostly to secure a sort of business deal with other wealthy families through the marriage, particularly with the Yaoyorozu family.

Shouto and Momo are already classmates and best friends, and both are annoyed at their families for trying to set something like this up. 

Momo manages to convince her parents to give it up, but Shouto isn’t so lucky and he can’t stop being mad about it as his lousy father searches for other candidates.

Momo tries to cheer him up, but Shouto is upset that he might not be able to find someone for himself. 

Also from his class, Aoyama overhears the problems and suggests blind dating, so that Shouto can “experience the fun before getting shackled down”.

Despite Aoyama completely missing the point of Shouto’s disdain, Shouto agrees to let Aoyama set him up, if only as a distraction from his father’s mess.

So Shouto meets his date that weekend at a small local cafe, recognized only because apparently Aoyama had told his date that he had “weird unique hair”.

Shouto couldn’t argue with that though. 

Izuku is easily one of the cutest guys Shouto had ever met, and even though he was clearly shy and somewhat lacking in self-esteem, Shouto enjoys himself quite a bit. 

They meet up a few more times, deciding to try being friends first since neither of them really knew how to deal with dating a stranger. 

Eventually though, Enji tells Shouto he’s found him a new suitor from the esteemed Yagi family, much to Shouto’s chagrin. 

Enji seems pretty annoyed about it though, as the Yagi family business was the only one doing better than the Todorokis in Japan, but a meeting is arranged anyway and Shouto decides to get it over with. 

Shouto was no less than absolutely and utterly shocked to find out his suitor was none other than Izuku.

That’s all I got for now, thanks for the ask Syd and I’ll see if I ever get around to expanding on it. :D
