A couple of last notes, there are slight spoilers for the current arc, but they are very light. Also, for this fic, the boys and girls’ sides of the U.A. dorm are not separated with a barrier. I imagine it more like a hotel; you go left for the girl’s side and right for the boys.

Vernal pools, also called vernal ponds or ephemeral pools, are seasonal pools of water that provide habitat for distinctive plants and animals.

My second collaboration for the @todomomo-mini-bang-2020! And my personal favourite to work on, as I could go ham and put everything that I like in it: nighttime lighting, layers and layers of glowing effects, plant life… thank you so much @flourchildwrites for giving me this opportunity!

Now, what does a vernal pool have to do with Momo almost touching fantasy!Shouto’s hand…? You’ll have to find it out by reading The Favor!

Title: The Space Between Heaven and Hell Part 1 Pairing: Todomomo Rating: T Word Count: 3,621 AO3

Summary:

Shouto knows he’s not a typical angel. Given who his father is, there’s a darkness inside of him he won’t be able to avoid forever. For now, he’s happy to watch over the one human who makes him feel emotions he isn’t supposed to.

There’s nothing particularly special about Yaoyorozu Momo, she’s an ordinary human, but to Shouto, she’s the most important.

This was written for the @todomomo-mini-bang-2020! My partner was the amazing @allaroundgamerkay  !! Check out their art for the fic!!! HERE

There’s darkness in Shouto and he knows it’s wrong. Angels are not compatible with darkness. Their wings are a pure white which blend in with the clouds and they move with a weightlessness Shouto will never understand.

Even as a young boy, he knows this. He feels how heavy his heart is.

Wonder why Shoto looks so awestruck with Momo, or why are they clad in battle gear? Here’s a teaser for the fic:

“Wait!” Momo calls out once Shouto put a few feet of distance between them. He’s just finished untying his horse and spares her a glance. She’s striding toward him confidently, her skirt billowing behind her. “What if I travel with you?”

Terrible idea, Shouto thinks to himself. 

“I’ve proven I’m more than capable of defending myself.” The princess emphasizes. “We can travel together as equals.”

Description: Oneshot, fluff

Similar to the school festival, Class 1-A is in charge of hosting a school dance to allow students to destress and have some fun. However, Todoroki is dealing with unwanted input from Endeavor, and Yaoyorozu just can’t understand the logic behind having a dance right now. Both escape the planning to get some air and find each other alone on the roof, needing someone to talk to.

Shouto

I can’t believe the school is having us organize another recreational function. I mean, the school festival was fun, and I definitely think it brought everyone’s spirits up, but after everything we’ve been through this year? Shouldn’t we be focused more on training our quirks and doing more to dismantle the League of Villains?

“What do you think, Todoroki?”

“Hm?”

I turn toward the voice only to find Sero and Kaminari  holding up a hand painted rocket ship the size of a person.

“I thought the girls wanted a starry night theme.” I frown.

“They do,” Kaminari pipes up instantly. “But rocket ships fly through the stars, so I thought this would be a good idea.”

“Maybe you should run it by Hagakure first–”

My phone starts vibrating in my pocket, and I feel cold run down my spine.

“Hold on,” I mutter. “I have to take this.”

If I don’t answer it, he’ll only keep calling, and since I’d rather him not have called this time, that sounds like a nightmare.

“What do you want?” I ask into the phone, my voice sounding much cooler and controlled than I feel.

“Now, that’s no way to answer your phone.” His non-answer is filled with that threatening edge buried under false politeness. “I am your father, after all.”
