“Oo yes! I love rom coms!” Chrissy smiled as she did a little dance as she sipped her drink and ate a fry. “No, I don’t want to have that. Okay thank you!” She was just happy. Happy to be with her friend and WY from her parents. She didn’t want to dwell on her home life and parents.

Chrissy couldn’t help but envy that Kirby’s parents were never home but she didn’t let it show. If she could get away from her parents for longer than a night or two she couldn’t imagine how peaceful that would be for her but she didn’t focus on it. Instead she took a bite of her own burger and thought for a long moment. “What are going to watch?” She asked as a way to change the subject.

“It’s okay to be in your comfort zone as well,” Delilah smiled gently. She wasn’t going to judge anyone for what they preferred. “You’re doing amazing, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise,” she smiled gently. “We can just have some down time because let’s face it we probably need it,” she admitted.

“Sometimes we just need someone to push us out of our comfort zone,” Delilah admits with a smile. “And sometimes we just need someone to help us be brave.” It was how she saw it at any rate. She took the show in and then smiled when he got a call and nodded, giving him a thumbs up in return then moved to find some paper plates and napkins and something to drink for each of them, wanting to be useful and hoping she wasn’t overstepping.

“That’s part of life,” Enzo chuckled as he looked at her with a smile. He wasn’t going to start an argument because she had a valid point. There was a lot that would be common but he wanted nothing more than to find out what she wanted and go from there.

“I do huh?” He raised an eyebrow. “I guess you’ll have to let me know if I’m narcissistic or not but I would argue most vampires are on some level,” he admitted. “I can be.”

“Now we can get past it,” Enzo stated as he looked at her before taking a sip of the tea he’d been nursing. He was used to the apprehension and fear because he hadn’t been allowed to explore the changing times and come into his own around others. He was forced to be an experiment and bide his time until he was finally free. He could be kind but also cruel if need be. “The question now is what you want with me.”

“And now I’m both so I’m stuck in the middle of it all or on the outside depending on the person,” he admitted. It was something he hated and why he ended up being defensive around new people. But she made a good point and he nodded. “I’m sorry,” he offered. “Sometimes I miss being human and the hardest thing being silly human worries, you know?”

Tyler didn’t know how to feel about all of this. He didn’t want to trigger his curse and he didn’t want to be a hybrid but he had and then was forced by Klaus to become his first successful experiment. It made him weary when it came to relationships, especially with people who knew because there was little love lost between vampires and werewolves for the most part. And he was both. “I just want to be treated like everyone else. I am what I am and don’t want it held against me.”

“With this family? Everything…” Klaus muttered, knowing that Kol could hear it. “Why don’t I just pay you what you bet and then it’s even, you don’t lose anything?” He offered as he looked at him. He wasn’t sure he wanted to know why this had been a bet in the first place but he felt like not asking was a safer bet.

Klaus had just wanted to read and enjoy his cup of tea. It was a past time he hadn't been able to enjoy when his world was under fire by enemies. But even without them it seemed his brother was going to try and interrupt him. He wanted to just read the book, sip his tea and enjoy that his world was relatively calm but that wasn't going to be the case.

He did his best to ignore him at first but he wasn't going to be able to do that if his brother insisted on talking to him. He wasn't going to do the sound that Kol seemed interested in. After a moment he signed and looked up at his brother. "I suggest you watch the movie that's from if you're insistent upon hearing it," he replied kindly.
