Happy New Years, everyone! Kicking off the year strong w/ some portrait studies. I've realized I need to do more work like this to better my artwork. And while I'm happy with how some of these came out, they aren't perfect... and that's okay! But knowing I made an attempt to improve means a lot to me. -- So for anyone who comes across this post, thank you for viewing, and I hope you enjoy my work, but also, from artist to artist, take this post as means to not put you and your work down. You won't stay stagnant forever.

Day 10: Yellow! // WE'VE DONE IT!!! (i say mostly to myself and the second me that is my brain) I finally finished a month-long art challenge. And man, I'm honestly proud of myself, an got some art improvement to boot.

Finishing strong with this art piece of my sona, Kay. I don't remember covering this from Day One's post, but Kay is my truesona. He looks/acts the most like me and I'm happy to have a character like that finally. It's a bit hard to make personas, I've found. Is that just me? I don't know. Coming up with a story/single character that has the same qualities of yourself has always been a... interesting endeavor to say the least.

Day 9: Green! // I honestly wish I was able to do this on the 27th, but unfortunately life got in the way. That and I was tired after my birthday, lol. But I still managed to make something I was happy with TvT

The OC here is named Tracey! He's a mer/siren mix and I simply adore him. While I still need to make him a proper reference image one day, I still love the few images that he does have an the stories I've been able to create with him over the years. He's actually one of my oldest characters dating till before 2017!

Day 8: Teal! // I was a bit worried because the color for today was a bit bright for my eyes, but I think I made it work somehow.

Behold, this is my OC, Marsh. He's a devoma, which is a species created by someone else. Regardless, he's a bit of an alien dude that I'm hyperfocusing on currently. Hopefully you all, (who come across this) enjoy it too.

Day 7: Blue! // I enjoy the color for today a lot, although I admittedly struggled a bit with today's. I wanted to be ambitious like last time, but I've been doing a handful of projects and am starting to feel burnt out. Sobs.
