moving (again!)

Hi people! Sorry for the inactivity, I have a cover ready but I’m struggling with the mixing part as always ;__; Btw I decided to move to a personal blog, where my UTAU, my translations and my other OCs will be kept all in the same space. You don’t have to worry about the blog suddenly being deleted, I will keep this url saved and change my current theme into a redirect one... Actually I’ve being saving all of the urls similar to “utau” and “tokeiproject” as well as the canon username for Glas, but all of them already redirect to my new blog, which is still under construction... The Synesthesia Ghost - ITA

Un capolavoro di nekobolo (che già si fa chiamare Sasanomaly tra parentesi) con Miku! Amo il suo tuning soft, le sonorità morbide, mi danno un senso di calma. L’ho definito “autunnale” nella descrizione del video, mi ricorda le giornate grigie, uggiose dove l’unica cosa che hai voglia di fare è bere tè caldo davanti al pc. Io però non dovrei bere tè Spero di non aver snaturato troppo l’effetto originale usando la vocina solid di Glas, questa cover mi dà un senso di esasperazione cantata da una power (?) ed è ciò che cercavo. Paradossalmente, ormai associo questa canzone a quest’estate che sta finendo, se non ad un arco di tempo addirittura più ampio. Il messaggio è molto vago (nulla di strano con nekobolo, alla fine), ma c’è... e chi sono io per spoilerare? Certe canzoni sono così: le capisci al momento giusto, quando ci passi. 『 I love both of you 』 A new cover of SCL Project’s masterpiece featuring Glas, a new voicebank configuration for Cel and the new comer third member of TOKEI project: Hina Mine. More announcements under the cut!

Summer is nearly over and as the weather cools down I have some refreshing news as well! Let’s start off by an announcement regarding Cel, you may have noticed that even is character page is not up to date since my comeback. His samples were pretty damaged and he was very hard to use, so I had him polished and reotoed by Ryankun. He sounds way better now, and although he still has the same samples Mark recorded on a January afternoon in 2015, I feel like this is a new start for him. This voicebank will be named RE and I will hopefully release him on September 14th. I hope I can keep up with this date since, you will know by now- I’ve been around this fandom for more than 5 years now, my dates are never by casual choice, but since I’m working I have to make some time to prepare the release video, make his character page and so on. The “website” will also have a renewal, both in the main blog theme and in the characters’ page: after all we’re welcoming a new member, that’s important stuff. Let’s move to the third member, Hina Mine (Hina is her name, Mine her last name. For the first time I wanted to use a Japanese name). I don’t want to spoil too much about her as of now, I still have to decide on some details, but she already has a design and some background. If we consider the members’ human age, Hina is the oldest member, she probably has the strongest personality among the trio and her image colour is burgundy red. She’s really close and related to Cel, but not in a romantic way, and she will be released with him. And what about Glas? She’s still the “ace”, after all, but I can’t record during the summer, especially since I want to try new things, as I mentioned in the video I want to try and record a CVVC. I’m CVVC oriented because I’ve never liked the VCV style, and I feel like CVVC is easier to record and is way more versatile: you can use it with VCV and CVVCs UTAUs can still be used as CVs depending on the situation and the UTAUs singing with them. The first VB I’m going to work on is the *samidare append, a retake of my unfinished *macaron candy voicebank, so she will be at least bipitched but I could make three, idk. She already has a new design! It was made by me and Dorellymimi, but the sketch is by AngelOfGears. I will be revealing more about this design on September 5th! If you read this far, thank you! Soooo, I did this cover something like a week ago, but a lot of /serious/ stuff happened irl and I didn’t promote it here or on the page ;__; I usually to everything as soon as I publish on Youtube but this time I ended up finishing at 1AM. I even forgot my friend’s birthday, I’m awful Despite not being really a fan of the original version (because I think Miku lacks strenght here, and 118 is a powerful breakup song) I like how my cover turned out besides my poor mixing skills... And btw huge thanks to Dorelly for doing the dirty work of aligning everything on FL, I just did the effects/eq/mastering stuff and slight-but-odd tuning this time

I can’t relate to this in a romantic way, but the anger and frustration in this song are so powerful that somehow I get to relate, there are many kinds of love after all. Fun fact: this cover was published 118 days after I started using 59 as nickname after I met a certain someone after four long years- and the numbers are a reference to him! Congrats to the only person who figured that out, you know me to well that I’ll have to kill you if we ever argue again

Sooo, as I said in the previous post I’m finally back! I got a new PC so I can finally work on my UTAU. Glas has received a oto update, so go check it out! There are still some inconsistencies but I can’t help it much since it’s in the recording. Mixing isn’t perfect and I have to improve at that, but overall I had so much fun! Milena is really user-friendly! Regarding Rena-sama, she’s an UTAU created by my friend AquaOkumura and her bank is private, she gave it out to only four people. Don’t ask for her because I can’t give her out, but I promise you’ll see her around my channel quite a lot~ The video contains Italian subs, since I overcame a five year long writer’s block and I wanted to translate something... Sorry if a lot of my video (not every video, I’m not that masochist) will follow this pattern ;__; I’m working on two other covers as I wait for my new mic cable to arrive (I lost mine, lol... Pretty sure I’ll pop up now that I ordered a new one) one with Renri and one with Glas (with Italian Subs and a PV since that song is for... well, someone .////.) THE LIVING GHOST IS STILL ALIVE (i think)

Guuuuyssss After a forced more-than-a-year-long hiatus I’m finally back at UTAU! I’ve restyled this blog a bit, although I’m planning to learn some coding and make my own theme! I used to make my own themes when I had my own blog but that was ten years ago and it was on another platform (and sadly, it died) So, I’ve reotoed and reuploaded Glas’ voicebank! I’m uploading a new cover later this afternoon featuring her and another UTAU by a friend of mine! The link on the UTAU wikia hasn’t been fixed yet, give me some time and I’ll do it! Also sorry for any inconsistencies in my voicebank, Glas is supposed to have strong consonant but at the time I didn’t have a pop filter, so I couldn’t VA as I wanted for some samples (for instance, the Ps). So, if you wish to use Glas, make sure that it says 2018 in her name and that she has her new art (the one with the roses crown). Some parts of her previous oto were really bad! I’ve also changed my username to 59! It’s pronounced “mikyuu”, as “mi” is the nanori reading for the kanji  五  (five) ... Unusual, but still a reading used in names! I still like the name Whiskey, that’s the name I use on *some other social media* and I can’t change it there, but I’ve been through a lot during my hiatus and now that I feel better I feel like doing a drastic change. I’d like to avoid drama as much as I can, that’s why I picked a different nickname from what I go as for cosplay... Although it will evetually pop up, lol. I finally overcame my writer’s block and I’m also back at traslating songs, but since I’m against reuploads (although without uploaders we wouldn’t know a lot of beautiful songs) I will sub my covers with my own translations to Italian. I sub whatever I feel like, whether it has already a translation or not (after all, I think the more, the better). I won’t take request for this reason, because I would also have to cover  something I’m not able to. Don’t forget I’m awful at mixing, although I struggle to get better.
