okay there was 1 other idea i had for whitney/PC

sorry but PC is super pathetic in all of these, mostly because... man i'm kinda pathetic.

the gist of it is that PC becomes painfully attached to whitney. like concerningly so. and it's funny to him at first, his pet being so obsessed with him and liking all the attention he gives them. even if it's the worst kind. it's great.

and then one day he just stops. doesn't even glance at them. just ignores them the whole day. PC is just assuming this is some new kind of torment. to get them paranoid, to freak them out, and it works! they're worried! what's he going to do next? why is he ignoring them, exactly?

they're jumping every time they see him, holding their breath, all that.

and nothing. nothing happens. not that day, not the day after, and not even after that.

and PC knows they should be happy! because the 1 person who made their every waking hour a living hell has finally left them alone. they dreamed of this moment. except he was... the only person who paid attention to them. and no one is. they're waiting for him to do something again, still expecting him to suddenly snap his focus back onto them. replaying every action whitney takes throughout the day, staring at him and trying to work out what he's playing at this time.

the longer it goes on, the more scared they actually start getting. any relief PC felt over being free of torment is immediately washed away by the desperation they have to get whitney to just look at them again.

they don't want to approach him, but they need to. they need his eyes on them again.

i'm having ideas above my station so i'm putting them out there in case someone else would ever consider writing these. idc, you can take them, just maybe like nod towards me if you do.

this gets long, but it's basically about Whitney (DoL) with a PC that becomes popular.

it's a high dom to low dom back to high dom situation with whitney.

at first, PC/Reader (for this we'll say PC) is a classic Unpopular person. nerdy, geeky, whatever. dealer's choice. either way, they don't have very many friends, and while they don't have enemies either, people aren't exactly a Fan of them. mostly, they're kind of a ghost, which is good in this town! but it also means no one cares about the bullying they DO receive

something happens, whether it's just PC deciding they actually want people to like them, or maybe they get sent to the asylum and come back with less inhibitions over themselves. whatever it is, PC starts being friendlier and working on becoming more popular. putting more effort into their appearance, getting involved in cliques they weren't previous a part of.

they don't Like it, but they Like the Positive Attention. whitney is happy that they're not a complete loser, at first. he does get a little pissed because he can't tease them as easily anymore, but it's whatever. they both know that PC belongs to him no matter what.

except for when things progress to the point PC is now badmouthing him behind his back. it's just to stir gossip, cause problems, that sort of thing. they don't actually mean any of it. except whitney doesn't know that. he just hears them talking shit and ohhh does it get on his nerves.

like, okay, PC was ALREADY starting to pay him less attention. focusing on keeping everyone else's eyes on them rather than caring about what whitney's up to like they used to. and they're scared of losing their status now! as difficult as it is, the harassment they got from being unpopular felt worse.

but now they're being such a bitch to Whitney??? their BOYFRIEND OWNER??? nuh-uh. that isn't flying. he'd already hate to lose them, but losing them to some shit they clearly don't even like? yeah, fuck no.

he's growing resentful of PC for all this too, because wdym HE'S the victim now. Nuh uh. he's in an abusive relationship and he's the abuser not the other way around. the roles have flipped at this point, where PC is the one mocking Whitney. maybe pointing out something he'd NEVER expected them to mention publicly, because in the past it wasn't something they EVER would have done, and that's what makes him snap.

he could put up with everything else, but PC does NOT get to put him in their position. they don't get to bring up personal shit. he's honestly hurt, but he's NOT telling anyone that either. but PC can tell they've gone too far, yknow.

whitney, privately, because somehow he's not as big of a dick as PC is being, points out everything he did for them when the roles were reversed. sure, they were his pet, but that came with PROTECTION. whitney could accept them being on the same level as him! but not fucking ABOVE him, treating him like dirt, using his small moments of vulnerability as a tool.

he was tolerating it all until now. if PC thought he was mean before, then they don't have a clue what they're going to deal with now.
